I currently have an engineer Charr but when I preview armors they all look very 'meeeh', so some of you have found some nice combos?
Goodlooking adventurer Charr?

It's not really 'adventurer', but I've tried to mix 'commando' and 'researcher' aspects. It had to be the eternal and overused Duelist armor though.

Anyway I see adventurer with any medium looking armor (coats like indiana jones), but not on charr, they look horible, they took human armors and put them on Charrs which is lame .. just looking at this list you see that devs were cheap
Really...after reading the Lore you pictured this sh** ?

this looks like : drunked charr dressed up by funny humans to make pics for youtube

Pieces:
Helm - whatever, I'm not showing it.
Shoulders - Prowler (Leatherworking)
Coat - Outlaw (Leatherworking)
Gloves - Invader (238 Badges of Honor)
Legs - Outlaw (Leatherworking)
Boots - Drover (Cultural T1)
This is the one I'm using right now. What do you guys think?
The good thing about this set is that, except for the gloves (which are tedious!), all the other parts will cost you only 34 s 34 c... which is INSANELY cheap. I took inspiration from our warband pal, Clawspur, when thinking about it. I think it's not bad... actually I love it.
I'm aiming towards the T3 because I'm a Ranger. But I think we have a few good things in store, if you know how to combine it!

i have a charr engineer aswell, currently i use the rascal set as i am lvling up, but i cant see anything else i like more, so i will probably transmute it when i reach 80 and get some exotics. i dont exactly like it all that much, i just view it as being the best of the worst. i use it cause with the right dyes it looks reasonable and it is sort of engineer-y looking, at least to me, if i ignore the little skulls.

This charr looks amazing! I'm usually pretty arrogant about my charr main, and until this character I would have sworn up and down that nobody could make their charr as cool as mine. XD yours just might have mine beat--congrats haha
But on to the subject of medium armor charr, the t-3 top is great because it's not a robe. You can get a good pair of pants with it

Apologies for the poor quality, this is my own GW2 charr. Sporting medium armorset heritage gear mixed with karma leggings from near where the charr/human peace treaty negotations take place. I've found very little in the way of stylish medium armorsets for charr, or sets that don't clip with their tails. I'm hoping to get a mix of whispers armor for her to compliment her heritage gear. Though I'd personally like something a bit less covering for charr. There are heaps of skimpy human, norn and sylvari clothes so why not charr? Afterall, I'm sure they wouldn't mind something a bit lighter in hotter climates with all that fur! Something like human female barbarian armor maybe? Only leather and made for charr.
