Hey all, I recently made a 4th set of gear for my guardian and I now have 30% boon buff for the runes on it. I figured if I used the Omnomberry Cream food it would give me a total of 50% extra boon but I was wrong.  I don't see any difference in longer boon durations when using that food at all and I wanted to know if anyone knows about this or what the food's extra 20% actually buffs. I been using chocolate oranges and lvled a character to 400 crafting to craft this 2 days ago. I would like to know about this too. Anyone knows?

I tested it in game with the chocolate orange increased 1 second. With the omnomberry cream and the chocolate raspberry cream didnt incremented more stayed the same. Can anyone confirm this please?

Makes you wonder if the boon duration is bugged then the magic find might be too.

It's not capped...I see nothing saying it is and iv played around in game, the omnomberry creams are just bugged.

I have also played around in game and there's plenty of examples of the game failing to bring forward exact information like this. The statement must have relevance to something I would think, even something that is ever so small is something. It could even define that boon duration is capped at an unreachable value, so you've never actually reached the limit. Interesting...

Besides, so the discussion ends with, "omnonberrys are bugged". Did you submit a report? O.K.

I have only heard of people talking about how they can get to numbers like 70%-90% boon durations on their characters.  I relise that they are obviously not using a guardian to do this but it makes me wonder how they can reach numbers like this if not using the food buff for 20%. I bring this up because if there really is a cap to boon durations, how are other characters able to go beyond what I can so much higher?

All I can really say for sure is this: 30% extra boon time  from runes on armor, If I use Omnomberry Cream for 20% more, boons do not last any longer.  That food is around 5 silver on the Trade Post, also, which leads me to believe people are getting use out of it or they wouldn't be paying that much for just 1 of them.

For each profession you can invest point in trait line to get up to +30% boon duration (for the guardian its the Virtues Trait line).

With 2 Superior Runes of Runes of the Monk (15%), 2 Superior Runes of Water (15%) and 2 Major Runes of Sanctuary (10%) for 40%

Food : 20%

For a total of 70% without food and 90% with food.

You can also get a +17% from Giver's Armor and Winter's Trinket.

So in theory you can get 107% of Boon duration. But that's only theory.

I have not tried omnomberry cream recently but I can confirm that it worked at some point in early December. The increased duration on giver's armor is rumored to be bugged.

I ran at 90% duration on my warrior in early December so I can confirm the cap is more than that.

Boon duration was capped at arround 2min last time I tested it.
