As for new siege placements, well I have no clue where they might have picked those up....
Ill tell you where, right from your playbook!  JQ capitalized on our coverage gaps, which is not new.  Enemies have been doing that since we started playing GW2.  What you guys DID do that was new, was build a placement map to rival anything we could throw at it.  In the past we would just retake what was taken, but your defense this last few weeks has delayed that recap until almost end of day, giving you the PPT for the coverage gap, AND most of our prime time.

Literally this weeks training was defensive and keep/tower siege training, due to your tactics!  Not afraid to say it, we got blindsided.  When I see people posting that WvW is boring, i don't know what to say.  No matter how good you think you are, someone will always come along and counter you.  THAT is the heart of W+WvW

Well done all, do stop by EB this week and give TSYM some love!

Good times tonight... EB is poppin!

Is there an actual 3 way going on in the middle of EBG yet today? If not, EBG isn't poppin IMO

With the way BG plays, Tier 1 is always going to be a battle for First in tier.

This is how it should've been for the past three months. It is obvious BG bring a lot of competition to Tier 1.  If you are first in total points, brace yourself the 2v1s are coming. :D

Great match-up so far, and props to [Nord] for the great open field skirmishes on JQ borderlands today. It's rare to see a 15 on 15 where both squads have decent comms, it kinda reminded me of GW1's GvG in a way, so whenever we scouted you guys we just had to respond because we knew it was going to be a solid fight. BG is definitely pulling in some serious numbers, and JQ are becoming far more aggressive with their portal tactics; should be a good week for PvP.

Yeah I just can't stand EBG really unless its like all 3 servers meeting in the middle and duking it out, my kind of fights. If one or more of the servers are backed up in a little corner it gets boring so I prefer the BLs.

Oh man, fun stuff out there tonite.  Wish we had 15 on at once together but that is rare for us, usually 5 to 10.  Ahm and Azy's "magnetic" personalities sometimes picks us up a few extras tho.  ;)  Old school DAoC and WAR open field RvR is where we cut our teeth so we are usually out there trying to recreate a bit of that charm between flipping camps and backdooring whatever zerg we can find. ^_^ After awhile started to feel like we were just shadow boxing with you guys, doing mirror images in between battles.  Missed connections in the lake a few times but knew you were around and always keeping an eye out for ya.  :D

Love seeing the scores stay so tight over the weekend.  I find the ebb and flow of numbers rather fascinating as different servers all have their own peak hours.  Really puts the emphasis on defense and upgrades.  Way past my bedtime.  Cya out on the battlefield.  /salute

I have a exploit incident to report with screenshot (Mesmer warp up to top cliff on Garrison to kill our treb illegally, witnessed by myself).
Please PM me.

I enjoyed our skirmishes as well. That is probably the highlight for us this match up...even after pulling a 15 hour day today and a 12 hour yesterday. Still early, but your the only guild that has come back for seconds, thirds, fourths and fifths. And your communication was great. You really caught us off guard the first time and rolled us severely - I was told you had 7 and we had 6, so thought it would be fun times....but you seemed to have about 10ish which was a little too much for us to handle.

One of the highlights was our sentry fell asleep and you guys ran straight past him and caught us again by surprise rofl.

Look forward to seeing you guys in the future. Just a shame it didnt last a longer, i really enjoyed the skirmishes!

hm I don't recognize that guild. To be frank, I don't see them around in WvW often.

Also keep the competition up BG! It was getting boring with SBI and JQ setting a standard for us.

I'd really like to know what the theory behind icoa's ball is...at least 3 times they had a guild group with far superior numbers wipe at key locations to mostly mixed randoms on bgbl last night, once when they were 5 seconds away from a successful golem rush on bay to reset t3 walls that were almost done.

The "Turtle" can be effective unless there is an organized force that knows how to counter it--if the turtle is done right it takes specific composition to defeat--.  That being said, culling may have stopped you from seeing the [FoE]  force that cut them off from the lake and slammed their golems open field.  I would not under estimate icoa or HB, we have seen some good things out of them this weekend including some new siege placement positions.

Excellent competition in BG BL this weekend so far.  As it has been stated multiple times in this thread this is an awesome and close match and I hope it continues throughout the week.

My first experience of them using this tactic made me laugh, not in that I'm rude, more in that we used to use that tactic a month ago, till the nerf and realisation that you can throw down an arrow cart and watch the bags roll in. (which I did at redlake got myself a nice 15 bags).

I sense a weakening of BG's resolve.  Don't give up on the fight yet, you don't want to "one and done" in T1 this time.
Of course, with SBI looking like a couple of bad hours could make them fall to SoR, maybe you can get away with it for a little while.  However I was hoping to see JQ sweat some more!

We have far too many pugs and PvX players, and very few WvW guilds. As soon as we weren't being handed victories, we were screwed, and there's not a whole lot we can do about it unless we get more WvW focused guilds on the server.

Don't worry, blood, sweat and tears is still the order of the day in JQQ.

On EB right now there is plenty of sweating and bleeding going on,. I am sure there will be tears later if we don't pull our collective finger out.

Snicker..........I really didn't sense any resolve in BG several hours ago when SoS and their lil lapdog JQ were hammering away at BGBL Garrison for hours and getting throttled by a Q'less BG server. So fun to watch JQ get wiped by Thai and a dozen or so pugs a half dozen times while SoS gets repeatedly wiped by about a dozen pugs. SoS attempt at building Golems in the same alcove outside the Lords Room as JQ sets up in the exact same alcove was priceless! Lil ole JQ had to abandon EBG in hopes to keep the pressure on BG at Garrison.
Just remember SoS players can't revive their lil house maiden JQ players, but it's cute watching you try

Actually we have great players during Oceanic Primetime, you should have been in BGBL Garrison between 3 a.m and 10 a.m server time as SoS  and their lil pet JQ  were attempting to take it. Thai and HB can hold their own

It's just some of our BG guilds been doing multiple shifts on weekend. They need a rest sometimes. The fact is that we aint that strong, in term of coverage compared to SoS and JQ but we're able to survive there. The reason now we're doing not so good because for some reason JQ decided to focus on us in combining with SoS at our borderland while JQBL and SoSBL mostly fine. Im not really complaining about 2v1 but it's a fact that make our life harder. The welcome party both JQ/SoS throw at us is quite mean :P

In sum, i dont think we can win here but we can do our best with what we have.

I give BG credit for coming out absolutely swinging.  Just my observation but it seemed they were a little surprised that both JQ and SoS were still standing after their fast start.  BG has some solid guilds and, other than crying about rendering issues, they fight tooth and nail.

Much respect so far.  Good fights on all sides.

Totally ludicrous. We hack at SoS nostop. Ask any self respecting member of SoS if JQ cuts them any slack.

Now, no one on SoS take any offense to this, because it's just game talk but I despise SoS on map and have been known to call for attacks on them at the cost of allowing SBI and now Blackgate off the hook. The reason we end up in second a lot is because we have more coverage than SBI did but less that SoS. The one week we had even odds, we one. And we almost pulled off a comback a few weeks before that. No server is as hundry for another 1st place as JQ is. It's all we talk about. We're obsessed with it.

Will we ever see it again? I don't know. I'd like to think so. But if we don't it is certainly not for lack of trying. Our place in T1 was been secure for months. If we were worried about that, you'd see something very very different on the maps.

I wouldn't call JQ a pet to SoS. Simply because we hit you guys both at the same time means nothing. It's quite frankly us both trying to break something that hasn't been broken this match up. In short you should be happy in the sense that it's the only keep on the BL's not to have been flipped at least once this weekend.

Let me give you a tip here mate. SoS was outmanned. We covered our side of the map to gain some sort of foothold from the ever-growing JQ ball of death that was hitting us from the south...and the [Thai], [Urge], [HB], [LLB] zerg hitting us from the north. Blackgate owned one asset....the Garisson. A tier 3 Garisson in which JQ had breached. So we decided to join the party and wipe the JQ zerg and then fight the Blackgate zerg....both of which were double our size. Keeping in mind the entire time we were outmanned.

The funniest part about this match up...is [HB] & [Thai] trying to take our tier 3 Bay for about 6 hours and wiping. Then JQ coming in straight after. Where you cry 2v1....i cry i dont have enough room in my pack for all the loot.
