- Increase Black Lion Keys drop rate by 100%
- Increase Dyes drop rate by 20%
- Reduce by 50% the number of Champions in the world
- Make ALL Champions & Legendaries monsters drop 1 Guaranteed lvl 80 rare item (reference to monster's ranks: http://wiki.guildwar...m/wiki/NPC_rank
- Make ALL Epic monsters (actually only the 3 Dragons) drop 1 Guaranteed lvl 80 rare item OR 10% chance to drop an Exotic item OR <1% chance to drop a named set item with unique skin
- Make ALL end-dungeon chests drop 1 Guaranteed rare item (based on reccomended explorable player's lvl)
- Make 1 Fine Transmutation Stone a Guaranteed reward from monthly event
- Export skins of Armor and Weapons from GW1, they were so much better imho!
Last time they were "fixing" drop rate they said just about all this you mentioned here, yet somehow i didn`t see absolutely no change after that patch !!!

What you don't know is that they secretly reverted to the old data base, before the patch. You really didn't think they're gonna give us more stuff, did you?
Seriously now, unique weapons would be nice. But i'd rather see more weapon skins / armor sets skins first. Right now, you don't have too many to chose from and I consider that really poopy. And cut it out with the RNG & DR crap. If I kill any creature around Tyria, I actually - and apparently I'm idiot for thinking like this - expect to get a drop, whatever that drop may be, so that killing 20 mobs I won't be pissed off cause I didn't get absolutely anything as drops.

Yes, i absolutely agree i already stated this in few threads current inflation in game lack of meaningful drops and ridiculous grind involved in some aspects of game all point to this !
Gemstore - gems - gold (or translated) extra cash for Anet !!!
I understand their "motivational speech" our cash shop will have only vanity items, but i REALLY didn`t expect that GOLD will be one of those "vanity" items (pure dissappointment on my part) !

No. Not at all. That is a game mechanic I came to hate in EverQuest 2 (and is one reason I didn't try other, similar games). If I am going to grind for some gear, I would rather spend my time earning tokens that I can use to purchase the item I want. I want to know i am making actual progress towards my goal, rather than hoping for that 1% chance that an item I want appears.
I do wish ArenaNet implements a system where i can trade in tokens I do not want for one I do, but that's another issue.

FFXI was so much fun and your guild helped you so much getting claims on the NM's. GW2 needs something that you need help getting and I like the Idea of GUILD EVENTS there going to add to GW2.

Allow max stats exotics to be bought cheaply from a trader while allowing the skins to be the items of value acquired both from dungeon tokens and drops from chests/bosses rather than everything from the MF
I completely agree with you. This is what made GW1 so great. It was easy to get into but the skin collecting, story and achievements took up alot of time but it was fun.

Comparing to GW1, in ways this is the same. many greens in GW1 were simply just special weapons using skins already in the game, maybe with some minor tweaks. They all had the same stats as any level 20 rare item, but were cheaper to buy or easier to come by as you played the game than exotics are in gw2. They drop so infrequently that there is no feel for the weapons actually existing, while in GW1 you were just about guaranteed a green in a SF oro farm or similar style event (before anet made a chest for everything). Also, there is no special color/quality identifier for said drops in gw2, they are just exotics, so again there is no feel for anything special about these drops other than it being an exotic.

I think a lot of the issue comes from not exactly knowing where or how these weapons drop. If I had a BoP staff from Arah P4 people would be like; Holy hell! You must have put a lot of effort into getting that weapon. Well done! I mean, we get unique back braces from dungeons (with no skin whatsoever, -.-) but it's not enough. Maybe if the TA one caused vines to grow from my armor when I was idling, or if the AC one caused a slight shimmer or glowing effect around my armor, it would be worth it.
Now that shit is just vendor trash, which really is a shame considering the possibilities that they contain.

So true. Especially the fact that champs have tons of hp! Why bother? I find myself running by them too.
I also don't want to try roulette with the mystic toilet for precursors. So guess I'll just try my luck with jp/fractals/dungeons, chests and such~
