So, I have seen few videos now where mesmers use their Blink spell instantly and with it's max range.

I know the instant cast can be used with "autocast", but how the hell do you blink to the max range?

I have quite some problem with getting the max range out of the spell, because it usually gives the out of range error, and I have to push the buttons for it again, which really throws away my quick reaction times.

Is there some kind of trick for this?

Experience, you'll learn the max range over time, it's also possible to trait manipulations to 1200 range instead of 900 so that could also be what you're seeing.
