Is there a hotkey or workaround for this besides left-clicking empty terrain? There are some skills that I'd like to quickly target, then clear, and clicking just won't work fast enough in my case for this.

There is an option to use a keybind to target nearest ally. Maybe you could use that to deselect.

Escape does appear to clear target selection. Thank you.
