Good stuff, I might actually come back and play it again if they can keep even half of these promises (especially the one about new gear tiers, for the love of god Anet, don't add anymore stat-based Treadmills to a game that's barely even 6 months old yet and took me 2 months of constant playing just to get 10g in ... I used to make 500 plat in GW1 after 2 months of daily casual-farming!).
Just casually do AC once per day, takes ~1hour and gives 4g, I just think you're not even trying.

Probably work as the mystic slivers, thus replacing another ingredient.

Really looking forward to the implementation.
But the time frame is worrying. If it's 2013, well, we got 12 months and if we're only going to get even 1/2 of those in another 6 months it would be pretty much a death blow.
A good way to save this situiation would be to give a definite time frame and then posting monthly updates on delays or even giving us interim updates.
Hell give us a PTS lol.
Read the article/blog, it clearly states for alot of stuff "early 2013", which if they use the same definition as every other english speaker, would mean the first couple of months, maximum 5 months.
Not to mention that legendary weapons require wuvwuh tokens. I know at least one person going for a legendary that doesn't want to PvP for it, and thus is trying to do it via jumping puzzles, with the same effect re:taking up valuable slots without contributing.
I'm all for PvP, especially non-structured PvP like wuvwuh, providing rewards that are valuable in other modes, but I don't think it should be the only way. Best way, perhaps, but not only.
Actually almost everyone that got his legendary is doing it via jumping puzzles.
If I would focus on it, I could get my 500 badges in 2 days with jumping puzzles with playing 8h/day.
This weekend I did my monthly 50 kills, took 3h and got 11 badges...
