I have never done Fractals yet and don't plan to just for my cosmetic reasons. I was reading the wiki and unless I'm wrong, can't I just craft a book or quiver for the back and then craft a glowing infusion then equip that?

If I can, my question is... since I don't want the quiver or book to show up on my character, would the glow still appear from the infusion?

The infusions as such does not add any visual effects.

What you probably saw was vestigial radiation of pure currency processed by the Mystic Forge Nuclear Reactor.

In other words, that glow is pure money given form. Ain't it cool? It pratically oozes it.

You have to upgrade the back item all the way to get it to glow, the base item does not glow even after you ad infusion
