Mantra-Heal-Phantasm (Scepter/Focus) - suggestion of gear PVE

Heya everyone!

I'm currently working on testing a Mantra-Heal Phantasm build that work with Scepter and Focus.
This build is on the test, so this not a guide.
My problem is that I've no clue of which stat beside +heal would be nice for this build. I've tried to figure that out be searching on the web, but it doesn't seem so much people are doing a similar build. So I'm calling for your help, and your wise suggestions!

Explanations about the build:

Note: Phantasmal Defender and mantra of resolve are switched with others spells according to the needs.
  • I'm summoning three Phantasm. Generally 2 wardens + 1 defender or disanchanter, or 2 warlock + 1disanchanter according to the nature of the fight.
  • I use Temporal Curtain for reflection and combo-field
  • I mainly use mantra of pain as source of damage/heal,
  • I use Confusing Image (generally while using 2 charge of PowerSpike)
  • I do not auto-attack with the scepter, and beside Confusing Image, I almost do not use any Scepter spells to avoid summoning clones.
  • I do auto-attack with the staff when I switch weapon to summon a warlock
My build is made to reinforce my Phantasms, be sure they deal damage, live long, and will apply restoration.
And be able to channel lot of mantra to heal more.


My question: what kind of gear would beneficiate this support/healing Mantra/Phantasm build? I've no idea what stat increase the damage of the phantasm, if I should go for +power, +precision, +condition, or a fair amount of all of those...

I run something like this and I've recently been running 30 in domination to get the extra mantra cast trait. It's very useful :)

I tested a  30/0/0/30/10 build first http://gw2skills.net...35SHVhrT6hqN9qB  but i found I was wasting point in Domination (the second trait is almost useless) that could have been used to empower my Phantasm instead. While spamming PowerPike is cool, if I want to be healer this trait is not that much useful anymore.

That doesn't solve my issue concerning gear. At the moment I'm just saving my dungeon token as I've no clue what to get :P

I think your idea of a decent amount of power precision and cond damage is a good idea :) but I'm not that experienced with mesmer, so more opinions would be good :)

I wanted to ask a quick question:

what's the average dmg of Mantra of Pain (assuming mix'd gear set zerk/knight/soldier)? Is it single target?

When I was playing a Mantra-Build it was (full Beserker) around 600-800 damage, just like an average auto-attack with GS and yeah, it's single target.
