I thought I read somewhere that they are going to rework some parts of the dungeons that currently require waypoint spawning.
I also hope that they do not allow revive orbs to work either.
edit. I thought that we would not be able to rez party members, but that isn't the case. We just cannot use waypoints while a member of the party is in combat.

They are doing both...
Change encounters that required zerging, remove zerging. (No, Lupicus did not require zerging.)
...did you not pay much attention?

If you really need to regularly exist on more than three servers (your home + two guested) in a day, how are you part of a "community?"
It's not that bad.
The bigger issue, IMO, is that there's still no way to play in both regions short of having two entirely separate purchases and accounts with all the associated hassle.

That may well be true but that's something to be said posteriori not apriori, though given who I was quoting... And yes, they have weak PR, that said, I've never seen Habib and Matthews as active on the WvW forums as I have over the past week. Heck, they've been rather quick and clear on addressing questions after the recent reveals of plans... which isn't (sadly) their usual MO.

What I meant was that thought-out GW1 A.Net has shown us their preference for doing the easy thing with the promise of (potentially) returning to the content and fixing it later on. But then since fixing the dumb ass shit that they did proved too time consuming, they just left it.
So with that in mind, I'd rather see them do the hard part first because rez rushing is just a special use of a tool folks use to deal with the moronic dungeon design and until the ACTUAL problem is fixed, I'd rather not give up that tool, even if it's being abused.
So I hope that the first build that deals with dungeons will completely rework dungeons instead.
(Or did they mention that also, because the transcript doesn't mention that.)

Pretty much. There are people who are your friends, who keep in contact, who do things with you and give you a sense of connectivity. And every once in a awhile, they might need a hand or vice versa. And it feels natural to oblige because its reciprocated and you are in regular commnication. There's a bond.
Then there are the ones who show up out of the blue, play to be our best pals and butter us up for a favor, only to disappear and never speak to you until the next time they need a boost.
Guess where ArenaNet sits?

But then again, maybe you should actually listen to what they say?
They stated quite clearly that it is not set in stone that they will "simply reduce AoE damage" they might instead decide to give some monsters new attribute such as Reduced damage from AoE and such.
They have never stated: "We will reduce all AoE damage." They have said change, not reduce.

Changing AoE damage is surely not increasing it or keeping it the same. It means reducing it. Don't be so naive.
Also, maybe you can compile a list of skills that are not AoE, since you're such a strong advocate of ArenaNet.

As they said in the live-stream: It might be changing SOME mobs to have reduced damage from AoE (such as alone bosses and such, since those are not really a target for AoE in the first place).
Why assume change means: "Nerf everything into the ground"?

Thanks. For some odd reason I had in mind that it'd be an hour later than the one last night. Looking forward then!
