I apologize if there is a topic out there already discussing this.  I didn't find one when I searched.  I am at 99% with the only things left are in WvWvW maps.  My problems is that I appear to be stuck in the worst group on each map.  I only have a few points left to attain on each map to get the 100% and those are all in enemy fortresses.

After about a month of logging into each map daily I still cannot get into those couple of areas to get the points.  I've switched to another server twice now as well.  I still cannot get them.

I do not have the time to follow groups around the maps attacking things that don't have those POI's and vistas that I need.  I am starting to get frustrated with this and the fact that it is required for world completion but I'm not here to discuss why it is.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Look on forums for servers that are absolutely dominating in WvW, change server and profit.

Odd, the search engine must have been overloaded with how often that brave little floater surfaces.

Piece of advice though: Switch to Vabbi if you're EU or Kaineng if you're from the US - both those servers run with 555 Points and 650 points respectively right this second - so the chances of you getting those few points that eluded you so far, are pretty high. Just make sure you do it until the 28th - as that is when free server transfers will stop and you'll have to shell out gems for it.

Same thing happened to me a while back. My last POI took me like 3 weeks to get. I was lucky because my guildies playing WvW helped me a lot by warning me when one of my POI or Vista where accessible.

Still, the starting fort for each server seem to be link to you'r server's ranking. Something like if you are the 1st of the three server you got the north, if you are 2nd you got East, etc. This is just an example you gonna have to figure it by yourself on which rank you need to be to have access to the POI/Vistas you need.

Don`t pay much attention to the http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#EU because  some numbers are just outdated. The Vabbi example is just wrong. Better just ask some friends or just ask on the forums for a server that dominates.

Pardon, I actually forgot to look at the time - as it usually is very well up-dated (within an hour) for the tiers my server plays in. The Vabbi numbers come from 6 hours ago - so I suggest, you make sure you pick the right server just when the numbers get updated by people.

Thanks for the replies.  I'll watch the numbers before I switch servers again but, as you said, it will only be free to do this for so long before it either becomes near-impossible for some people to get world completion on their servers or be forced to shell out gems to switch to servers that do better in WvW.

Make sure you switch to another server quickly, because after january 28th you have to pay for a server move (and you need stay at least 7 days there before you can move back). So make your move before the 21th so that you can move back before you have to pay.

Not to disagree with anyone else's suggestions but I got mine while I was still on Gate of Madness.  It was actually easier there than now on Sanctum of Rall because we have been blue for the last 3 months or so.

I just got all the local points over the course of each match.  They only lasted 24 or 48 hours at the time though so who knows now?

Low population server at night is the way to go.

This might come a little late since anet is stopping free transfers soon.

But the easiest way to go about this is to transfer to the exact same servers that you are fighting. Every point on the map is probably under someone's control. If it's not your server it's the other two.

You'd need about 2 weeks to get all the points in enemy territory. But in case you're just a few points short of 100%, you might want to try this.

This! Be a bit ironic tho' if, *just* as you transferred, your 'new' server *just* lost the POI or whatever to your 'old' server

doing this is going to be hell (or expensive) after free transfers stop. either suffer trying to do it the hard way or pay for 2 server transfers, 1 to go somewhere easy and 1 to get back.

Server transfer only works, if your not on a 24/7 full server As you will never get back to your home server.

Unless those hand full of servers aren't sitting at full 24/7, I haven't played since before Christmas.
