Before GW2 went into beta there was a femal and her dog who traveled around the US. I'm a little fuzzy about the details but I do remembershe was invited to go to the GW2 office. When she got there they let her play the game then showed her they made a character of her and her dog. She bloged about the gameplay and how surprised she was about her character they made of her and her dog. Her character would roam around Tyria and you could run into her and her dog.
My question is has anyone seen her lately? If so what area was she in?
[Answered] Remember the female traveler and her dog?

I saw her in the Back Citadel a week or so ago. I stopped and we had a nice chat. :-)

Yeah, Amaranth. She done a trek across America, stopped by ANet's studio's and they put an NPC dedicated to her. Haven't seen her though.
IMHO, she'd make the perfect replacement for good ol' Nic.

I saw her at the BLack Citadel not long after launch.
In fact it's possible she is only ever at the Black Citadel (or I mean.. Maybe it's just that only two of us have answered this

Yeah I do remember this as well, I believe I saw her in Beta at Hoelbrak and never after that but when I think on it more I could be mixing up who it was (somehow)
Either way I think Guild Wars 2 could really do with a little more of these cool little things in the world, World of Warcraft (as much as I disliked the game after a couple years playing) had a plethora of interesting little things around the world that made exploring even more fun.

Thanks guys Guess I'll go to the Citidal and try and find her and her dog. Be cool if they do events with her and or make use of all the gems they put into the game.
