[SICK] Plague is a guild that originated from DAoC, we were from many servers across the land and formed up on Gareth Mid where we rolled 8-12 out the gate, and into the storm.
When WAR was released we transferred to that game onto Ostermark where we gained new like minded members and new alliances of guilds.

When we heard about this game we looked for some of our old friends from other games and heard about the gw2relics page. Where we decided to join Jade Quarry and found our home on the Jade Quarry forums pre-release. We’ve been on Jade Quarry since the beginning and although the guild has gone through changes we’re always around.

We are a small guild of no more than 20-25 members. Three nights a week we meet up for fun, mayhem, and artichoke/anchovies pizza (not really) in WvW. We are likely out in WvW a lot more than that, but there are some official days.

It was kind of funny last night:

Raw: “You guys new?”
Us: “lol no”
Malice: “You wouldn’t know us we don’t zerg.”
Me: “Doh!”

So my hat off to the smaller aimed guilds out there in WvW. We’re doing what we do the best; being a kitten thorn in the side of our enemies.

Guilds such as:

I would like to thank the teams of JQ that had donated their time spent with us in their TS server to discuss things on a serious and not so serious manner in transferring to a different server.  One of my members calls it bandwagoning, that may be what it is considered to a lot, but we honestly did not see ourselves moving to JQ in the first place.  The professionalism that was presented to me, and a cookie to our GM's of SF in our in game mail, were pretty big points for our team.  We have been competing with the teams of JQ for quite some time.  We have earned respect on both spectrums, us to JQ and JQ to us.  We have been in the trenches beating the living crap out of each other for months now, this also having one of the longest lasting rivals in the game as being a member of SBI.

My evaluation for SF to move was this.  I needed to make sure what is going to be most healthy for my guild.  I consulted with the team, had an open forum and advised everyone to be non-emotional and only evaluate factual data, check queue times, familiarize yourelves with the terrain etc.  We were able to scout multiple servers and have multiple meetings with other servers.  We at SF industries have voted as a guild and came to a conclusion that for the sake of the GW2 balancing act, we would fit well with the JQ teams.

You guys from JQ made a great impression on me and have worked with me in the past in cracking down on crime!!  I look forward to working with the teams of JQ and assisting where we can.  Thank you for the gracious invite and meeting, SF accepts at this time after taking all things in to consideration.

Evaluation consisted of the following:
Queue, organization, the need for us to join, welcoming of any teams that may follow but were not asked to follow.

That is fine, those who have that perspective of my guild can continue to have that conclusion.  We did our homework and spent a lot of time working toward what was best for the guild and seen a need.  Also, keep in mind we met with JQ before PrX did

I'd also like to state that this is a long term and final move for our team.  We are cheap and refuse to pay money to just move to a server

The rumor was PRX was going to Kaineng. I assure you, no one wanted to follow PRX. Hopefully everyone can understand this is about longevity of game enjoyment. SBI has spent more time in T1 than most, so saying SF is bandwagoning to T1 is kind of silly. We considered multiple servers across multiple tiers and it came down to the one of those servers that could benefit most from us and where we wouldn't be lost in the lag balls/culling. As well as JQ is the closest thing we have to a 'sister' server.

The efforts of the officers in SF to revive SBI in an attempt to stay there can't be argued. This guild was one of SBI's biggest cheerleaders for a while. At some point, the pom poms seem a little silly when half of the team doesn't even show up for multiple reasons. Did we expect the decision to be trolled by the trolls? Absolutely, but if any server can QQ about transfers.....it's not SoS. Come to think of it, not many servers can. I can acknowledge that the timing looked as if we dropped and transfered. The transfer had more to do with the timing of the announcement of free transfers ending.

Thank you to JQ for invite and warm welcome. It'll be great to get to know you guys.

If anything hearing about [PRX] moving to JQ greatly hurt the overall want to go to JQ. However we were not going to let that guild effect our decision.

Regardless I am very happy to be moving to JQ! With SBI's downfall the only logical conclusion was to merge with our bitter rival and our brother in arms Jade Quarry.

I guess there are not many who would ever want to transfer to blackgate after your first time in T1 and your massive spam in this forums. Not blaming the server as a whole but there were so many idiots which weren't able to accept a clear defeat and instead flamed SBI (or JQ)

I feel sad for SBI, they were great opponents in every match, but I can understand that wuvwuv guilds will need a new home before free transfers closing if they want to play in T1 again.

Calculated about at least 6000??

OK. I challenge JQ.
We will lose to JQ coz they have huge soldier and defend tower, so cant take big sore.
But as soon as u walk out open field, WM will swim into bloodbath, our blood or JQ blood.

Imagine 100 vs 6000.

Who are we? The Acolytes were founded in 2004 with the basic principle of creating a strong, social gaming community. Since then we have offered many outlets for our members to enjoy their time together as a community. That could be grouping together doing a dungeon or playing a drinking game on mumble. Currently we have branches in 7 MMO’s including Guild Wars 2. Our membership has been strong for 8 years and it continues to grow each day.

What are we doing to address those needs? The Acolytes have placed experienced leaders to run the branch prior to launch. These leaders have spent many hours working together to create the best environment for our member base. The leadership group is in constant contact and work as one to continue the success of the branch. The environment of the guild has had a positive impact on the whole server community with events like Pink Day in LA and Aco Claus Wintersday Present Giveaway.

What principles guide this chapter? Almost as a result of how Guild Wars 2 was developed, the most important thing here is that people are having fun. We are a zero-low drama guild of friends who like to spend time online together. We have every type of player ranging from casual 5 hours a week to hardcore 50 hours a week, and the important thing is that we all log into a great game and have a great time together.

FIRE (brief hiatus as GODS) is looking forward to having some great new additions to our server. We have a competitive and fun pvp environment. FIRE has been on JQ since the retail launch of the game and we are looking forward to working with our new arrivals to keep JQ in Tier 1.
