Just as expected...  The NA timezone for JQ is quite competitive against SOS.  What I do like more about JQ when compared to SOS is people seem to back down less in open field combat even when heavily outnumbered.  In SOS, I remember having to always wait for the zerg before moving forward otherwise, I'm one of the few knuckleheads dead in middle of nowhere.  My play time is usually around PST and kind of overlaps into the Oceanic time.  JQ really do lack the NA PST & Oceanic coverage and don't seem to have any really large guild except for EMP that I see a lot of for today.  I can feel the difference already.  At first glance, I may have thought JQ was heavily overstacked, but after officially being on both side, I may be wrong...  Even if I'm wrong, I think I'm enjoying JQ more at the moment.  It was quite interesting and fun to go against a larger force and see so many more badges without relying on JP all the time like before.

This is so acurate it's scary. SoS never runs with less than 20. JQ runs with whatever we want. 10, 5 , 3 , 2 even solo. The great part is, we are all so used to this that if you see 4 folks running together, you can hop in and just anticipate what to do. They will already know how to integrate you in. This is why we can wipe 20 SoS with 10 JQ. No fear. Dying in this game is little more than a slap on the wrist so why run?

My motto is "Take someone down with you." Heck, even if you can't do that, SoS is so zerg conditioned they will all veer off for 1 person. Dstract them for even a few seconds and you're buying time elsewhere. I had 5 SoS trying to kill me last night. Was in a downed state for almost 2 full minutes (memser tricksy). I killed 2, one from a downed state. Downed is not dead. I do almost as much damage spamming from a downed state as I do standing up. So, yeah, we have fun even when dying. Thanks for joining us! Anywho, Anet has raised the server cap. No server is showing full ATM so if you have a place to transfer to, now is the time!

What you said is true, that's why I chose JQ over SoS as my new home (after leaving my beloved SBI).

If you want to join the overcrowded server... join us on JQ.  We shall zerg our way to victory. That is why I chose them over SoS.

I am in EMP, glad to hear we are making a name for ourselves. We try our best and love WvW. Shout out to Noodles, TewChainz and Immortal Stei, some of the best commanders Jade Quarry had got.

I hate to say this, but JQ does NOT need more transfers at the moment, we have a solid core fighting force and at least decent coverage in every zone. If you are a dedicated WvW guild looking for a more active home, try Sanctum of rall, Blackgate, Sea of Sorrow's or Kaineng. I love the community on JQ, but right now, we just don't need more bodies in WvW. If you want to keep T1 WvW alive, transfer your guild over to one of those four servers.

P.S. Yes, if it matters, we have queues most of the time these days, so consider this a counter recommendation

This is not true unfortunately, we have plenty of guilds, and a really strong core NA team that can successfully dominate T1, anyone who says otherwise is deluding themselves. We have decent queues on every map during midday on a Sunday, something that hasn't happened in months on any server as far as i know.

I don't think Bodyshot is in the minority, it is just that you and many others are dealing with outdated information on JQ coverage.  We've picked up a metric ton of very WvW minded guilds in the last week and are doing pretty well out there.  I agree with Bodyshot, we don't really need anymore except maybe in a few select timezones but strong showings in others will make up for it.  I have disliked the tier 1 arms race from the beginning as so much of it is perception based on when you play and when your server is at its strongest vs their opponents.  The real WvW season wont start until March anyways so lets just enjoy the matches while they level off and start looking for ways to make for 6 to 9 strong WvW worlds because good competition will be best for us all in the long run.

To me JQ was the original "stacked" server, but not how you would think today. We opened our doors and welcomed the best RvR/WvW players, only asking them to help build a strong community, win or lose.  At that time our numbers were as high or higher than any Server.

We lost a few great guilds within the first few weeks of GW2 going live. Where those guilds left, others filled in or existing guilds stepped up.

We have now gained guilds that were our enemies and some that want a chance to fight their former allies.  They come to JQ, not to win at all costs, but to fill in and make our community stronger.  None of the people I have fought with over the last week are looking for an easy win.  They are stepping up, Pinning up and leading us to possibly be the best we've been in months.

There are no queues on any maps from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard time. After that, EB might have a 10 minute queue weekdays. Let's not over react and say we're full or don't need any more transfers. All are welcome! Weekdays, we need coverage in every time zone. We have queues on the weekends, but I have never seen a weekday queue longer than 10 minutes and there's always at least 1 map with no queue at all except Friday night after reset. People are saying different to scare folks off. It's just not true at all.

Plus, in a week or two, the hype will die down and we'll be back to having dead zones on each server.

I'm not saying don't look at other servers, just saying don't be scared off from JQ. We are not any more full than SoS is ATM.

I agree.  Don't forget...  Australia was celebrating "Australia Day", so that might be the difference on the scoreboards.  

Also, when JQ leads, maybe more people shows up to do WvW?  What happens when JQ isn't in the lead?  Will the queues be the same?  I'll hold off judgement since my play time, I rarely encounter the long waits during weekdays.  Weekends is a different story regardless of which server in tier 1 and 2.
