Hello GuildWars2Guru! I'm very new to this forum, and I have a question I hope one of you can answer! I have been grinding my butt off for Destroyer Lodestones, I crafted my Destroyer Greatsword and Destryoer Staff for my guardian! (Ha Zah!) But now I wish to craft a Destroyer LongBow. The Destroyer Staff looks bland and I'd love to de-craft it and get back those Lodestones! The question is, Can I? And if I can, What salvage kit? The Black Lion Salvage Kit is vague (I don't salvage as much as I should ) So please help! Thanks Everyone!

So I don't get the raw materials from crafting the weapon back?

No, you don't.  You'd get items similar to salvaging any other rare/exotic.  Some ectos (maybe), one or two of the metals used (probably ori in this case), and possibly the sigil you put into the weapon.

if you salvage it with any kit you would get ori/mithril, maybe an ecto, and maybe (guaranteed with BL kit) the sigil on it.  you won't get lodestones.

Next time you could preview the items before crafting to avoid finding you don't like it after all.

Never knew that, I guess I'll try that with the pile of cores I have collecting dust in my inventory so i have a bigger pile of lodestones collecting dust in my inventory

Where do I get to fight higher level destroyers? I can only think of Mount Maelstrom but I didn't know it went up that high or am I wrong?

Usually. Just make sure you double-check the TP before you do it, because occasionally its less favorable than just buying the lodestone (and/or selling the cores). Don't forget wine is a very non-trivial 25 silver each.

No transmuting items makes them soulbound with green rarity and higher. Whites and blues makes it account bound.
