I know there's maps for the rare materials (orichalcum/ancient wood etc) but im wondering if theres any maps for common ones like copper/iron/soft wood etc, need to gather lots of them for my crafting and dont wanna spend bucket loads of money on them and wanna speed my runs up.

EDIT: I play on desolation server

Personally, I think that lower tier crafting nodes are just everywhere in the world and are fairly easy to farm. At least ore and wood are, and there are usually enough nodes. Gathering/cooking nodes and farms are harder to find. Either way, the Guild Wars 2 Interactive Crafting Node Map came out on Reddit a while ago and may be helpful. Not sure how accurate it is due to the wiki style editing system and immense load of icons that are on the map, although it may be worth a shot for the general locations on some of the farms/etc.

It's just too big a job to be worth doing for nodes that are found in large numbers and respawn on a short interval. Copper, green wood, and carrots are not limiting factors when trying to level crafting disciplines. Access to orichalcum, ancient wood, and omnomberries are most definitely limiting factors when you get crafting to 400.
