I'm trying to get infused without needing to farm for days or spending real money to convert gems. What is the cheapest ascended trinket to obtain? How about the easiest (I think they're all obtained the same way)?

There are only rings and backpacks at the moment. Here is a full list including ways to obtain them.

It obviously depends on your ingame wealth and your progress in the fractals which one is the easiest to get. My advice would be doing lvl 10 daily runs until you can buy the backpack for 1850 tokens or a ring of your choice.

Don't you need at level 5 agony resistance to get past that level? This is where I'm stuck at.

Nope you don't need any AR until like level 20.

You don't need it to complete level 10. 5 AR drastically reduces the agony damage taken and 10 AR nullifies it (before lvl 20).

you'll get an ascended ring from doing the level 10 daily after 2 or 3 tries.
Just try to dodge the bosses main attacks and you wont get hit by agony.

once you get 1 ring, you can infuse which will make things much easier, then just start farming fractal relics/pristine relics to get your ascended gear of choice.

and heal like hell at the maw, so it agony doesn't kill you there. (you'll still go down though)

Do ten level 10 dailys and buy the ring from Vendor in fractals with the coin you get for each daily

Get enough Fractal relics to make the back slot item

Get lucky during level 10 daily and have a ring from chest.


As has already been said you do not need agony resist at this level it is just the first time you encounter it. It can be avoided rather easily most of the time. You should work on not getting hit with the attacks that give agony now because eventually even your max resist with agony will not be enough.
