Hello fellow GW2 players, it bores me to death to come here and read "omg 2vs1, omg they jumped in our tower, omg come to our server, omg let me live in jumping puzzle, omg I cannot get map completion...etc etc" since GW2 was launched.

What we need my friends is some fresh news. Something which will keep people coming to Guild Wars 2 Guru - Stonemist Castle every 5 mins so that they can be stay updated with the current happenings.

So come and participate - share any breaking news you have regarding WvWvW. Be it Guild X went to server Y, Guild Z has decided to retire from JQ, MikeSr runs with 25 stacks of Bloodlust all day pwning all in his way.. etc etc.

This is your opportunity to be an excellent reporter and show your skills to the community.

Breaking News: Red Guard has decided to stay on JQ after free transfers end. HB from Blackgate will now have competition and SoS need to get EU crew now!!

Blackgate is getting another EU guild. I cannot say who or when.

Xaoc was interested in coming to SoS or another NA server, but they could not due to the internet connections of their members living in rural areas, inability to recruit, and language barrier.

There is a major Oceanic guild scouting Tier 2 servers. I cannot say who or what server they are from.

EDIT: And I hear of another server breaking guild coming to Jade Quarry, if that doesn't skew the odds in your favor, I don't know what will

The whole forum is for this kind of stuff. Not sure why you need one specific thread for it.

Also, as I've had to go ahead and delete 6 posts out of the thread at this point, I'm really really not sure why we need this.

Yes but this thread was to cover WvWvW news across all servers. Other threads usually contain news related to their weekly matches.

But since your post no one else has dared to post anything here fearing infractions. Aw Kattar, why you had to be the party pooper

Are you looking for a list of what guilds went where? If so, just make one. Most of the server community sites have a list up somewhere of who went where/who they lost.

if you think RG will change the fortunes of ur server, you are grossly misinformed.
They are one of my fav teams, but when the dust settles down and they see, less and less ppl play in the EU timezone, they will shift back to EU.
They are not the coverage kind of guild you are expecting them to be. they just want fights. and from what i understand SOS doesnt have EU coverage and Blackgate has 1 or 2 EU guilds?

How long do u expect them to fight the same guild over and over again.

Dust never settles in t1. SoS has 24/7 zerg coverage. They just like to cry wolf as most as possible.

GO easy on Kattar guys, he was just doing his job. I explained my joke to him in a pm. The mods have no way of knowing who is a trill account and who isn't. The little blurb I wrote about Jed could have been real headache for the mods if I had written it about someone else.

He or someone else opened the thread. That's kind of a cool thing right?

Rumour is that JQ and SoS are going head to head in trying to lure a prestigious EU guild to their server. I shall not name the guild now, but will surely let you all know once the transfer is complete to either JQ or SoS.

They can surely do that as well, but I just reported the info I received. It would be nice if some major WvWvW guilds move to Blackgate and SoR as well (some of my ex-SBI friends moved to SoR). WvWvW is most fun when there are atleast 4 strong servers who go neck to neck till the last day.

In other news, I think this thread is a good idea. The GW2 Official Forums are overly moderated, and there's no reason to use them. This place is slightly better, though I have seen some threads locked for silly reasons. Example, War Machine looking for alliances. Locked and directed to the other forum that nobody reads. Do you folks wanna generate traffic here or discourage traffic here? I guess internet powers are worthless if you don't flex them every now and then. Who knows?

As far as the free transfers closing, goes. It appears that only a few servers are left that can stop the monstrosity known as Kaineng. The particular server I'm eyeballing is Maguuma. According to my Great Brain, they SHOULD serve as the first contest Kaineng will face until they make it into tier 1.

What servers are you other free agents eyeballing to make your permanent home? I know one thing. Wherever I go, greatness will follow.

Guess lots op top guilds in high tiers would transfer (with whole alliance) to lower tiers without queues.
Just before the end of the free transfer perioud.
So they dont have any queues anymore, and can jump over to other border with the whole guild if needed without the queues.

But ofcourse they dont post that here..
They want to keep that a secret as long as possible, else those low tier servers will be crowded real fast.
But we gonna see some big changes next month in the rankings

This. I don't ever want to be in Tier 1 because of the politics and Glicko rating manipulation they play. I also don't want to jump onto a server that I think has a better chance becuase badass guild X is going there. Server quality is about chemistry, guilds willing to communicate, coordinate and have consistency, while still maintain a balanced populous to avoid queues. I think the servers that have been lingering in tiers 2 through 4 have found that or are beginning to form it.

  You must go to a Tier 1 server to stop the War Machine Juggernaught.

  It is the last line of defense, and if they fail, it will be because YOU chose to get stuck on Maguuma or something and weren't there for the last stand.

Jumping map to map isn't as awesome as you might think. The problem is that people tend to adopt the mentality of, "Oh they will come save us". Which the evolves into them not even bothering to call until the last remaining gate is at 15%. Next thing you know, you are map hopping and just doing defense everywhere you go without even being able to pause and come up with a strategy.

It sucks.

Crystal desert is falling apart, Rise left first, and many of the other wvw guilds followed. My guild is more or less all that is left, and we are also planning on leaving as well because the server is dying (at least wvw wise)

How dare you question The Mighteous One.

We usualy switch border when the enemies arent giving good fights anymore. Or always run away when they see us.  Usualy when to many good guilds are in the same border this happens. (especialy at prime time)

Not to rescue someone..

Last few nights i played enemies,  shot down most walls of our keeps with trebs from their well defended/upgraded towers but didnt dare to come out to take the keep...  Very booring..

Sorry I was away for a day, but it seems VoTF (one of the best EU guilds - who were on IoJ before moving back to EU) have moved to Sea of Sorrows (whose sorrow has increased with Jedahs quitting for a few days - I mean who leaves it forever )

Top Tier servers are still at "Very High" - been like that for a while now and no NA server is full atm.

If you or your guild want to make a move then now is the time as I expect the last few days to be very busy.

All servers are still open, those who want to transfer now is your chance. Go Go Go

Thus I have transferred over to Jade Quarry for 3 reasons:

1. With VoTF on SoS I get to play as an underdog on JQ during Oceanic and Euro primetime.
2. Some of my SBI friends are on JQ and some on SoR. Between these two servers I choose JQ.
3. I was reading a Taoist book yesterday and it kept calling manhood as "Jade Rod". So I liked the word Jade.

Plus Sayura is no longer amongst us in GW2

Gunnar's Hold has had a massive increase in organised groups recently. As far as I heard Whiteside Ridge and GH were being fed up with losing to Ring of Fire for a few weeks. Whiteside Ridge guilds were spotted on Gunnar's Hold and before I knew it Ring of Fire was easily outnumbered. As of the last reset a group of Ring of Fire commanders were just watching and losing ground in the first hours. After that half of the so called 'Ring of Fire alliance' either fell apart or joined up with Gunnar's Hold. Pretty sad, really.

I got pretty much fed up with politics instead of warfare so I quit my job as a commander for a week. Just to see how other servers are doing at the moment. And maybe learn something if they're actually doing something right! So I moved to Kaineng. (A random US server as far as I was concerned...)

I'm glad I did, although winning with 695 to 0 is rather boring.
I was actually surprised how well organised the groups there were.

Next week I'm moving back with my guild and my polished strategies. I'm almost looking forward to being outnumbered again, it just means there's more of a challenge.

I'm so glad this thread is has "gossip" in the title. Because thats all your post is. Yes a few guilds left, but there is still a strong comtingent remaining. We have been busy running around trying to contain this gossip mill folks are trying to create to scare more off CD.
