I don't think Kaineng is going T2 after reset. FA is starting to pull ahead and you'll probably end up seeing Maguuma and DB fighting each other for second. Maguuma has a very strong N/A primetime and DB has a very strong Asian primetime so they kind of cancel each other out, which will just push FA higher into the lead and push its points up for T2.
I honestly think SoR 2.0 is much scarier than Blackgate or what SoS has apparently devolved into. SBI didn't get so weak because it's guilds disappeared into thin air. I think T1 is in for a rude awakening at next reset.
It's first real challenge will be in the 3 rd tier with us (Dragonbrand) and Mags! =) Thank you for noticing that we have a good Asian primetime, It seem that most people forget it. Lol

I hope so. In my dream world there would be 6-9 Solid wvw servers fighting for position with a bunch of mobility. Good luck in your fight and beat the snot out of WM. They are fun fight.
Would be even better for Kaineng (personally speaking and not speaking for the whole server) to not get into the higher tier so quickly yet. Though most of the new guilds there have experience in T1 and T2 but my guild and probably others still need a bit more time to regroup.
T3 will be a good testing ground for Kaineng. I think over the last two weeks the disparity between T1 and T2 has really decreased due to all the last minute transfers. I think TC is probably the weakest server of the top 6 for next week's reset because I think they gained the least from transfers. If I had to power rank right now, I'd go JQ, SoR, BG, SoS, FA, and then TC. If you remove TC from the mix and replace them with Kaineng, there's the potential for some great diversity among the top 6 servers via T1/T2 rotations. That is, if FA and Kaineng have the level of coverage required, which has yet to be proven. Regardless, as proven by Maguuma, there's a massive, massive difference now between T4 and T3 so it'll be interesting to see how Kaineng does next week. Also, FA's real proof will be next week against TC. TC use to dominate us. If we are on par with TC or lose, then my whole theory is shot in the face and T2 will remain a punching bag for the T1 reject.

It's impossible to say. Nobody really knows what those transfers represent in terms of active numbers. SBI split into three servers for the most part, with SoR getting the bulk of their remaining SEA players. Then there was [HIRE] who when we played IoJ was worth around 30 players per night during the Oceanic time zones.
I guess we'll have our answer next week. I'm certain SoR NA will play hard and over cover their weaknesses for awhile, but my bet is they place 3rd against JQ and SoS (assuming that's how T1 ends up). In other words, I'm betting that they will display the same coverage weaknesses as BG in the tier. They are certainly better off coverage wise than they were when BG last faced them though.
Meh who knows. We'll know when we know. SoR won't be a pushover though ... that's one thing I know for sure.

We don't play for second place. We don't do strategic alliances. We don't care about making rank. Right now DB and FA spend alot of time in our borderland during NA so the reality is that we play defense alot during our prime time and we don't have enough to control enemy movement in attacking borderlands. I'd like to dismantle FA BL but we can't right now if Dragonbrand insists on hitting Mag BL in tandem with FA. After 1:00am Eastern, our BL gets cannibalized by both teams (though FA seems to take a bigger share). We don't have the Oceanic playerbase to stop that but its cool.
The matchup is fun and we aren't concerned about winning. We get great fights on our BL so the time spent defending is mostly enjoyable unless FA decides to get into a swirling winds treb war but after we figured BT out, there are no guilds from FA or DB that we don't feel comfortable beating open field. AVTR is intriguing but we figured them out too. We really wanted to fight War Machine. I feel confident that we understand their strengths and weaknesses. No matter what, it would be a great learning experience like BT was. For that these guilds will always have my respect.
FA does have a numbers advantage in tier 3 but they can use those numbers alot better imho. There are alot of teams on FA that seem to emulate War Machine style play (moving around with perma swiftness in a tight ball for buff sharing and comboing) but I get the impression most if not all of them do not understand the fundamental principles behind it and what its weaknesses are.
Case in point:
I think this is a problem of teams overspecializing to the point where they have very serious weaknesses. In some cases, you can literally kill their whole team with 1 skill (technically they are killing themselves without knowing it).
I know this forum is highly preoccupied with discussion about timezone coverage and population, focusing very strongly on tier 1, tier 2 or potential tier 1, tier 2 candidates. I like this match because it forces me to think about what I'm doing, how to build counters to it. Not just stack population until you can overcome all resistance with a tidal wave of stupidity. I just want good PvP and once in a while I'd like to talk about PvP (not PR) on this forum. There doesn't seem to be much demand for it though. :|
