Not really sure it counts, but I'll submit my app to the contest. I love what ANet has done with the game, how the community has embraced it, and what this site has done with GW2DB so I created an app to make things even easier. I'm not an artsy person so drawings or stories were out of the question, but this was a labor of love and it has paid off so far!

Meet my Sylvari, Jareth. I drew him during the very first beta weekend access, I was so taken with his looks
I have never animated anything, but I so loved the concept of the Sylvari's bioluminescence, that I HAD to learn how to make him glow!

Here he is (not glowing yet) and below the picture in the spoiler tag, the glowy picture.

Can I ask a clarification - it looks like previous projects are permitted to be entries?

Does that mean that say, a webcomic can be used as an entry?    (Even if recent comic updates have lapsed due to an inability to stop logging into GW2?)

If not, that's okay.  I have something else in mind that I may be able to do before the deadline.

I want to join in, but I feel like any digi-painted art entries have already been overtaken by Charlie Dayman... doesn't help that the image I want to enter in was actually inspired by his party portrait when I first saw it a year ago >.>

Plus I am on with Doc's boat in that playing the game prevents me from working on any images. T_T

You can submit previous projects. Your comic would definitely work as an entry!

GW2 Fan? Check!  I think my fandom is pretty well shown by these 3 pictures:
1) My crafts.  I started the first golem with the original promo pics and my quaggan obsession is boundless.... Sadly, this isnt even all of them. My kids still want more even though they have near a dozen quaggans, golem, and all my GW1 crafts.   I HAVE to make myself a plush griffon soon, I finally have all the materials needed.

2) My GW2 loot.  Items I have won, bought, and I have been gifted.  Found the other art book shortly after the posting previously so I updated the pic. My daughter has the GW2 shirt so it couldn't be added to the pile.



3) My husband :-) He is a big fan too.  He took my unfinished Blue Eyed White Quaggan to get Felicia Day's autograph for me when I couldn't make the last 2 days of Dragon*Con last year.
