Not sure if it's a bug or intended but a few of us noticed on hotw, coe, se and other dungeons that the mobs that usually give 10-20 silver are not giving any silver at all anymore...even some of the boss's give no silver anymore...

We did this a few times and it really drops the amount of gold you make doing dungeons.

Is this a bug or Anet nerfed gold making in dungeons along with the rich ori ore node?

I really hope not...that was a huge source of income for those that don't play the trading post wars 2....

I hope not either. It actually made those dungeons worth doing alongside Fractals.

I didn't notice it when I ran AC last night, but I'll keep an eye on it when I do it tonight to see if the same thing is happening around the board.

hotw and coe will still have use to me as I mainly run them for rares for ecto salvage more than direct cash, but if it's happening to AC I'll be really disappointed as daily AC runs are my main money maker right now.

I did some COF P1 farming today, which is the main dungeon used for farming gold, and they still dropped the same. I can't see why they'd nerf others but not this.

Just did a full AC run. gold is the same from bosses and champs, no need to get alarmed. Unless they introduced some gold dr for bosses that I didnt notice.

So far only heard about cof and ac....

We noticed it in coe,se and hotw, had not try'd the others yet.

Could just be buggy or those mobs just have been changed maybe.

Some guildies and I ran all the paths of AC last night and we didn't notice much change between before the patch and after the patch.  There were some mobs that dropped less, enough to notice, but there were some that dropped more.  It seemed to about average out.  Granted, I wasn't sitting there punching in the numbers and amount of silver or total gold I ended up with at the end, so its possible that it was less, but until there is more data to draw from (like someone running AC for a week and recording how much silver is dropped from each mob, or something along those lines) I think there isn't a reason to get overly excited about it.

ran coe1 last night, didn't notice a huge difference other than the first champion wolf only dropped 54 copper for me.  I don't have pre-patch numbers on this, so if anyone does feel free to compare with that number.

overall I felt I made about the same from merch crap and other rewards, plus I had a charged lodestone drop out of a chest which definitely made up for any difference that I would have noticed.

But guys with the new +cash drop % infusion it will balance out anyway!

More buff than nerf IMO. Just finished over 10 sequential CoF runs and I got 13 silver minimum as if that's the minimum you can get instead of the usual 2 silver.

The only champions that drop the 10s+ are the ones related to specific events. The Champ wolf in CoE isn't going to be giving 10s,
