This my First Build Post So bear with me. It is The Build is outside the box but since venom share doesn't work very well in groups larger then 5 i believe this is the best support thief Build. This build isn't for everyone, It is a Blast cannon not a Glass cannon the play style takes some getting used to. Instead of this stealthy Assassin you are the Blades to Gods Lawnmower.
Build -
http://www.gw2db.com...01-cluster-boon
Gear -
I recommend Going all Knights but if your amazing at dodges mix in some Berserker.
Runes -
2 Sup Runes of the Monk, 2 Sup Runes of Water, 2 MAJOR Runes of Sanctuary. Water can Be bought off TP for about 1g. Monks cost 120 AC tears(4* run for both runes). Sanctuary cost 60 HotW trophy. This rune set is Based on the fact might stacks in duration and boon duration is set by source.
Sigils -
Sup Sigil of restoration. For any AE class in WvW its Amazing.
Consumables - http://www.gw2db.com...omberry-cream-s and http://www.gw2db.com...intenance-oil-s
Warning the creams are very expensive, you may want to farm your own Omnon's and get them made.

Play -
This is a Melee build It is meant to be front line. You need to be surrounded by your allies and your enemy in a  sea of Combo Fields. You will Not be Aiming Cluster Bomb At the Enemy But rather at your Feet In the Combo Fields you are standing in. This allows u to cast them much faster. Your job is to saturate the Area with High damage While constantly Providing insane utility with the best combo finisher in game. Please note - IF YOU DETONATE IT IS NOT A BLAST FINISHER. Try not to spam unless trying to get a few more hits for Restoration procs.
To effectively play this build your gonna have to get your Team/guild on board, but i dont think that will take very long once they see 25 stacks of might(that last through whole fights.) constant retaliation, 2 minute swiftness buffs, and healing on demand. A Couple people (like and ele and gard or ranger and engi) to give the fields and some control of the rest of your force not to use the wrong ones.
Rotation -
Pre-buff, Caltrops-Steal,Dodge, CB/det, CB, CB, Weapon Swap, CB, Dodge, CB,CB,CB Daggerstorm, CB,CB,CB weaponswap,Steal ability, Dodge, CB,CB.....
Of course the dodges are only their if you are at full endurance and >80% health. With High Crit % Cluster bomb should always return 1 initiative. That combined with the 2 Quick Traits meams in combat Initiative will never be an issue but pre-combat you will often be drained.

Thank you for your time, hope you enjoy playing my Thief build.

It's interesting I give you that, but I think it'll be too hard to pull of in practice, since blast finishers only proc on the first field laid down you can't exactly shower your team with a bunch of different effects unless your team is moving around a lot so that the fields don't overlap.

But I can see the merits in this, a bunch of healing, might, weakness, blind, chaos armor, frost armor, swiftness, and stealth can be super useful, and Dagger Storm can provide another set of effects with a whirl finisher.

I think it's a cool build but takes too much coordination to pull off and (imo) wastes the huge damage output that a thief is potentially able to deliver

It really isn't hard to pull off at all. /say only fire fields please, usually gets the job done. How is there any loss to damage potential? CB is our highest hitting AE. While we lose our Single target spike i find it hard to think this build loses to other thief builds AE. In fact with its enless Initiative, i think it hand down Pwns them all for 3+ target dps.

GRRRRR Im a bear. Anyway more testing has led me to think this build isnt going to work. It just plays to clunky.

Don't build for it, use your normal build with the food and sigil on shortbow, but definitely use the idea. In w3 I spend a good deal of my time using blast finisher on attacks and defense, open field and siege. You wont see it much in EB but in the borderlands your commanders and siege leaders will appreciate it and you will melt zergs as long your squad isn't totally useless. Turn on fast cast ground targeting, you wont need that circle since you get a feel for it after awhile and you need to be fast to get that last blast on a field burning out. You can still have fun with your normal build and weapons while buffing your squad up (and your self, cleaving away at an enemy zerg with fire shield, retaliation, or confusion is good times), and will probably be more effective anyway in general anyway.

You realise that 'bear' with me is actually correct.
