Has there been any official word on whether Tyria will be celebrating the Canthan New Year in GW2 any time soon? I know access to Cantha has been cut off, but there still must be quite a few Canthans (and descendants of Canthans) living in Tyria... so celebrating it still seems like it would be done. (I even found an asian looking Vendor in Ebonhawk who was selling red bean cakes!)
I know in GW1 the celebration starts pretty soon, but what about GW2?
Canthan New Year?

Then ANet replaced it with a giant hole.
And I was looking forward to seeing little stalls there like a festival and several NPCs in a long lion costume parading around, biting on people their heads.
