That should be able to run GW2 on Best Appearance at that resolution just fine. You may have FPS dips in WvW, but so does everybody else.

toshiba just released another version of this computer with 1080p with the nvidia gtx 670m 3gb ram. do u think it will also run well on best appearance at this resolution? thanks for ur help again!!

There will be an fps drop going from 1600x900 to 1920x1080, but you should still get good results even at Best Appearance, and you can always knock shadows and/or reflections back a notch. (Sampling at "native")
Your performance in WvW and large events, which is very CPU dependant, should be about the same with either display.
