I seem to be having a problem with the daily achievements i gather fine and that goes up on the % mark but for some reason when i kill things it's staying at 0% is anyone else having this problem?

I had that problem a few days ago check your system time to make sure it is correct

wow thanks that sorted it i just had a new motherboard put in and it was reading yesterday all is good now

It only increases by increments of 20%, which makes it kind of useless.

I did not have this problem yesterday.  My mob kills counted in both pve and wvw

If you have the Dailies thing in the corner minimized so it only shows your progress on dailies itself, then yes, it does that, because it only tracks your completed daily tracks that you've received your bonus xp for.

Expand the list in the UI, you get a more.detailed view for each part.
