Actually we were referring more to the small guilds rather than the big. The big guilds are very good, and they do great work, but sometimes the smaller guilds get overlooked. That is where we retake number 1!

Well the thread started several pages back, but this latest discussion started with you basically saying JQ was stacked and you needed to go back and train more to fight with what you have. I have no problem with that statement. That is exactly our position about 10 weeks ago. However, if thats all you said then we would not be having the chat we are now would we. Go back and read you last few posts with an objective eye.

Coverage is real and skill is real, hmm, yet again basics 101 statement. Want me to find some quotes from your statements 10 weeks ago?

Well, my prime time will be starting in about an hour so once i have sorted things out at home i will be setllting down to play and so no doubt will meet you on the battlefield. I am not hard to miss, there are about 3 of us fielding an Oreo tag in WvW at present.

You would be surprised, apparently many SoS folks regard me as a big bad troll. Many others from other servers have actually commented on how they like some of my posts for exactly the reasons you described. The truth is no doubt somewhere in the middle.  I have a robust attitude to posts sometimes which can turn folks off and the message can get lost. That does not mean I am some sort of raging loony.

Seriously, if you are interested in my thoughts on this topic, I am happy to take it to PM. I don't mind if you don't want to take that up of course as I respect your decision either way. The bottom line is that any advice I give is freely given and up to you what you want to do it, discount it as rubbish or use some of it to help as you see fit.

I admitted that it was easier when we had more numbers than we do now.  We still had to hit hard and put in a lot of hard work.

For instance; SF was a force to be reckoned with on SBI, but we didn't sweat much because it was just SF.
Now that JQ has the numbers it fields, SF has to be watched because that means that CRNG, AoS, or PRX are now free to attack another target.

Sure, dig through my old posts, while your at it, why dont you drag out how many positive, GG posts saluting my opponents, respecting their skill on the field, and GGing the whole server for doing great.  Pay special attention to the two weeks where you guys won, and couldn't stop rubbing it in our faces every second post, saying SoS was dying, and you were the new king of all crap.

Speaking off, GG again JQ, we got lots of training to do to balance out your off peak hits, but great win this week!

Also, Im starting to think you guy have some sort of excuse complex, where no matter what you see on here, you immediately assume someone couldn't be taking the loss in stride, and posting constructively.  Quit projecting, and try saying something polite about the servers you will be beating for the next few weeks.

Suppose the trolls can only win as graciously as they lost eh?  Least you got guilds like EMP to carry you guys class whise! /salute EMP!

I can only represent myself here, I would never pretend to talk for JQ at all. If other JQ folks want to moan then thats their bag. I am very confident I have not. I have just accepted that SoS was winning and that we needed to raise our game to give you a good fight that is all.

Likewise and well said. No matter what server or guild, we put all our hard earned time into WvW. The best victory is showing humble respects to winning and loosing teams alike.

I don't see reasons for all the QQing on all sides. When a server wins its classified just as that, its not listed as a win only because of coverage or whatever reason people say is the reason they won.
At the end of the week the best server will win, its just that plain and simple.

That is something that make me wonder as well, why we on SoS never have some kind of community teamspeak. I even post on SoS forum and suggesting that SoS need this thing, not only its usefull for map coordination its also important stuff for some guilds that were considering to transfers to SoS before the end of free transfers. Alas it seems nobody on SoS care about this

Well said, most WwW guilds on SoS tends to treat pugs like garbages and put the blames on them if something goes wrong and then they wonder why they dont get reinforcement when they outnumbered by enemy zerg. Now if only some of WwW guilds on SoS knew how to better treat their pugs.
(hint: Patone alone by himself start a guild on December and in only 1 month his guild was able to recruit more than 400 members. He was the sole commander in EB before he quit few weeks ago and whenever he ask the pugs to rally on him ,he alwas got himself a BIG zergs ready to follow his command. go figure...)

note: im not Patone nor i was a ex/member of his guild, im just some casual pug on SoS although by posting this im afraid im gonna be accused i was a JQer pretend to be on SoS

Ok some fair points there. There is no denying that you have congraluated others in the past and I have likewise done the same to SoS. If you think I am rubbing your face in it, then I am sorry I gave that impression. That was certainly not my intention. I was just responding to the tone and content of your original post and providing some observations. You are free to ignore them but you keep on quoting me back so I in turn feel we are having a conversation here and being a courteous fellow feel honour bound to respond so am happy to continue while I do my ori run before getting into WvW  

Also, please are you talking directly to me or what you preceive as JQ as a whole? I get confused. There is only one of me, I am not "guys". I am just a guy. If you quote me back then my natural assumption is that you are talking to me.

Somebody mentioned our PPT lead during this same period yesterday.  Yeah we did well, but, because its sporadic you should be able to figure out why.  Not give us shit about "quitting."  Same thing for SoR, maybe even more so considering their NA crew is just as crazy as us.

Quit? The screenshot is taken prior to EU time, thats during an Asian timeslot, EU started about 1h 30 mins ago and we are currently at 240 ppt after having to take back keeps with waypoints.

You wont see us quitting during a matchup.

Well like a /salute after a wipe, its never meant as sarcastic, and always as an toast of the highest regard!  Least not when it comes from us.  Our posts are the same, and while some come on here and bash their opponents, I reserve the bashing for WvW, and the /praise for here (and the occasional 3v1 vs forum trolls when class is dragging on).

I have to say, I don't think everyone who had issue with your post was a troll, so please don't do them and yourself such a disservice by blanketing them all under that group. Some of them had very valid reasons to have issue with what you said - when SoS would get a huge spike during Oceanic times and the few Aussies on JQ would be at a loss to match what you had, we werent going "Oh grats SoS, but it's all because of your superior coverage, dw we'll hold workshops and get better".

Sure you may have congratulated us before, but almost every post of praise I have seen before has had some kind of allusion to how you guys are great, have been training hard, or "been kept on your toes". There is nothing wrong with admitting that you may have lost, because I would honestly not believe you if you said you don't get beaten - even RG and PRX get beaten in open combat, and I have seen those first hand. Please, don't bring up the time you wiped ~10 PRX out of a whole group as an example of "beating" PRX, and then losing to them a few days later once they got more members in down to good training, because while I'm sure they do train, they always were terrifying as a force when they had their members in.

When it comes right down to it, try just admitting that you may have lost, and leave it at that. No "we will train to deal with X" or "your superior coverage does X", All servers have periods throughout the day where they break the trend of an even split between points. Now, please don't take this as an attack against you, I respect you guys as competitors, but the irony in saying that we are only winning because of superior numbers and coverage really makes such posts sound downright silly. Again, labelling everyone who disagrees with you a troll isn't helping your image. For the real trolls out there, it doesn't matter what they are called, but calling those who have legitimate queries or issues with something you say is downright offensive, and doesn't help your image.
