SoR crushed SBI in T2, just before the exodus from SBI.

  It was expected, since SBI could only field enough to compete on one BL, and even then without queue's most of the time.

SoR is T1 material, both in coverage and ability.

  They are/were toe to toe with SoS, so I don't see how anyone could doubt it.

  Besides, battling SoR is always a challenge and a blast. They fight in small groups, also....not just zergs, so they pretty much bring it in any situation.

  I love battling SoR, they are one of my favorites.

Big time congrats to Jade Quarry.  No matter what is said, you have earned the #1 spot.  Nothing should be taken away from that accomplishment.  Lot of coordinated guilds and hopefully we had some great memorable battles.

Also, big congrats to Sanctum of Rall.  You guys surprised the hell out of me (and maybe many others).  I think with a bit more coverage you will be pushing for #1 soon.  

Comparing Blackgate and SoR, in my view BG had a LOT less squishy people.  I think that jumped out at me when we first fought them.  SoR seems to have more active WvW members.  Maybe?   Also, don't take this wrong, but I think BG made less tactical mistakes.  I'm using 'tactics' as a loose term because I know some will freak out.

Just my opinion.  I think SoR is the real deal though and have built something pretty cool.  Keep it up!

Get real folks. I think some posters here NEED the up and coming reset to be away from the opposing servers for a while. Kinda like the Glicko equivilent of a nap. Some of you (from all sides) are getting fussy! Who's a fussy little poster? Awwww. Who's got a fussy wussy head? You do! Yeas yeas! You do! Widdle fussy poo!

Maybe when we all meet up again a few weeks down the road everyone will realize what a great time in the game this was... obviously the skill gap and the coverage gap are not nearly as wide as folks make them out to be.

Come on. Look at the scores from previous weeks. This is AWESOME! If you can't see that, you're blind.

This week, the JQ almost comeback week, and that really close week as folks were moving around are the three weeks that stand out in my mind. I'll remember the fights from this week. SM was never at rest. Bay and Hills were busy placxes. No Garrison was safe in any hands...

Look, all three servers have shown huge hairy nutsacks this week. I've seen some crazy assed risk taking and hard hard fights. I've even seen a fight come to a dead halt and everyone just walked away because it was too much for too long...

Maybe some of you need to be in game more and on here less. This week has been awesome.

If/when SoR and BG face each other again, and depending on who the 3rd server is, I personally think it would be a lot of fun and the score would be really close. In fact, given current coverage, I think a SoSvSoRvBG match would be an absolute blast. I think SoS would still have the upper hand though with their strong Oceanic advantage where BG and SoR's off-peak coverage is stronger in the SEA timezone.

I'm not saying fighting JQ in their current form wouldn't provide some fun, but it's nice going into a match not really knowing what the scoreboard is going to look like at the end of the week. It adds a lot to the excitement going into it.

Sorry just to clarify, where you giving a serious response on his pun? Or where you addressing the actual scores which JQ is leading by 20k+?

I actually just read only the first paragraph, I now read the entire thing, but I was responding about the 20k+ lead, I mean it's not really anyone's fault that SOR and Sort of SOS lack coverage during EU time where JQ has a massive presence, but it just makes things so un-fun when you wake up to everything gone and pretty much upgraded and making it nearly impossible to get back, I just hope it balances out over time and it doesn't turn out like this in the future.

First off, nothing I am about to say is to be taken sarcastically (except the bit about the glicko goblin at the end).  The guilds mentioned below did amazing work this week, and it deserves to be recognized!  Im not here to challenge JQ coverage, or say anyone is crap, or belittle anyone, or anything of the sort.

What I would like to challenge, is this growing sentiment that your EU/SEA guilds are 5x better than your NA guilds (assuming all points are done by skill, and you gain 5x your points during that time frame).  I have played during these times, and I have played during the NA times of both SBI, JQ, and several other guilds that are now a part of the JQ war machine.  Your NA is PACKED full of the most skilled players in all of NA!  We bring one hell of a fight to them day in and day out, and they are able to hold their own against all of it.

SF, you guys get my award for most improved over these last 2 weeks.  At your peak, your numbers and skill was staggering!  Yes, numbers is a compliment, as I know in the past getting people motivated to WvW has been a challenge.  That tells me your leadership over there is top notch!

EMP, I probably have more respect for your team than any other guild out there.  Thank you again for allowing us to GvG with skewed numbers in your favor, and unfavorable terrain on our side, many guilds would have wanted a strait up e-peen show down to prove they are the better team, but you guys allowed us to wipe and train new players.  Your time was very appreciated.  I've said it before, you guys have the best heads for defense of any guild we have faced to date.  Don't lose that in your pursuit for field presence!  If you can manage both you be the most rounded guild out there!

FIRE, when I saw your guild out there this week, I remembered those epic fights we had at foghaven the second week we were in T1.  Your numbers may have taken a slight hit, but you make up for it completely in skill.  Very impressed overall!

FOO, What is there to say, you guys brought the pain several times this week, and we felt it keenly.  Starting to fear you guys on a wall as much as we do EMP.  Keep up the great work, and looking forward to meeting you on the field again!

AoS, amazing field presence lately.  I can see those boon stacking builds being used by a lot of guilds, but yours seems to be handling them better than most.  That combined with the fact that I don't believe I have ever seen you hit the wrong target, EVER, makes you one of the few guilds I tack a scout onto.  Strategy and Tactics, a potent mix.

PRX, not being able to face your team across the field was always one of the bigger regrets when fighting along side of you.  When you play for the competition like we do, you want to face the best.  After hearing that the best was joining us, we didnt get that chance, but now we do.  /salute!

SiN, superb performance as always, pleasure facing you guys in combat!

Almost none of these guilds play in the early mornings, when you gain a ton of your points.  I refuse to accept that these guilds, what I consider the pinnacle of skill on all servers, not just JQ, are one fifth as good as the guilds that play in the morning time.

You guys have great coverage, the only ones I see denying that is a select few forum warriors.  What you need to get through your forum warrior skull, is you ALSO have amazing skill.  Any one of the guilds above is enough to send most guilds back on their toes, and you would be a moron to deny it!  Its an honor to face them on the field.  Any opponent that claims that you only win because of numbers just plain doesn't know WvW, and clearly doesn't know your server.

To all the SoR guilds we faced (TW is the one that comes to mind the most) i give a massive, non sarcastic /salute.  You'll be a permanent fixture in T1 from here out, and when we have faced you as much as we have faced both SBI and JQ, your guild names will be embedded in our memories as well!  Great job once again to Jade Quarry for their #1 placing, we look forward to coming at you again in the future!

Probably after the Glicko Goblin gets finished playing merry hob with the rankings!

VoTF from SoS has been doing a very good job of holding down maps for SoS (Resulting in 250-350~ ticks during EU prime). Most of the scores people are posting are SEA time leading into EU (We don't dominate EU at a 500 tick as everyone says). SEA we do have a 400+ ticks most nights now but EU has only benefitted from everything being paper and our ability to have stable numbers (No que's during EU so you do the math)

The joke was... 20,000 is a very very SMALL margin of victory and I was making wild grandoise statements in immitation of Jedahs, just for funz. If you think 20,000 is a big lead, you need to go look back at the other match ups. It. Was. A. Joke. I. Was. Not. Seriously. Bragging. No. Need. To. Get. Defensive. About. It.

What is SoR's goal in sandbagging the last 36 Hours? They are showing as zero ppt, and a server like SoR has to WANT zero points to be at Zero ppt.

Just to make this interesting, I'll tell you that February has been declared Red Yaktober. There is a contest going on where the best screenshot of a guild or solo killing a yak gets a prize. Not just off you guys either. BUT, that may explain some of the crazy lengths folks have been going to to get a yak these days.

Although Rage loves yak. I can't claim that the contest is making them worse than usual.

So, servers be warned. Yaks are going for a heafty bounty!

Despite all the negativity from forums, I can speak for behalf of my guild EMP – Empërium, has enjoyed all rigorous encounters from opposing servers. This week our main objective was to sit down and optimize the transition time between our coverage hours for our triple way point defense.
Shout out to: TSYM,FEAR,TW,NYS,TWL,ONE,MERC and many other guilds for putting up such a fantastic fight.
Our ambitions of Nonagon’ing border waypoints were cut short this morning by 2 waypoints from such a heavy offense. Great fight everyone and keep up the good work!

Also, EMP will be doing GvG’s all friday.

[Tsym] is always a pain. Disciplined, organized, and effective.

  New guilds I have faced that stand out...[LUN] and [KoM].

  We bumped into [KoM] a couple of times and underestimated them, and got annihilated as a result. Superb small team guild. Really looking forward to more matchups against them and return the favor. I have no idea the size of the guild, but they are rising to the top of the Kill First list very fast.

[Agg]...don't like those folks very much, but they are definitely improved. Much more aggressive, and much better in straightforward PVP. Nice job, whoever is working with that crew.

Oh yea, KoM, and a few others (hands off my octopus) are VERY good in small numbers.  Teams like that should be dissected, studied, then murdered with a brick!

Calm Little Buddy is actually my brother, my apologies for his "ticks" he gets.  See, when we were kids, I used to push him down the stairs and he would shout, "I BOWLING BALL!!!" While rolling down the stairs, it was so cute.  Then after some period of time he started to have this constant glazed look in his eye.  See, at first, I thought it was cute, then I started to notice quite a few things that were "off."  Not to mention that he pees crooked, I only know because when we were in the back of that bar that one night writing our names in the snow in yellow, he was veering always to the left and you would hear a crack whenever he shifted right.

Then came the early 20's.  I went off to work in a factory and then go to college and he decided to spend all of mom and dads money on hookers and blow while in college.  This lead to a lot of brain cells killed, but it was a hell of a time, at least for the times that I joined in.  I sure do miss those days....  ::sigh::  ...and that's why a pig and elephant DNA just don't splice..
