Also to those from SoS that keep talking about [FoE] and [Agg]'s overall lack of influence on the sever you guys are seriously full of it. I been out in WvW nearly every single day since before SoS came to T1 and every single day the guilds who fielded the most numbers and provided the most fight on the maps was both [FoE] and [Agg] each respectively would always field 30-40 players each and that has not changed at all 10 weeks later. Out of all the guilds on SoS those two I believe put in the most effort, not that the others didn't put in a shit ton of effort as well as I know they did but the tags I remember seeing the most are not theirs. Maybe it was just the maps that [SF] was on tended to always have those two guilds on it as well. But regardless anyone who says those two guilds were worthless or not a big loss are completely full of it. While I know [SF] would take on and take out [FoE] and [Agg] on the regular, when those two guilds worked together at the same time it was us who normally would be the ones taken out.

We've traded plenty of blows back and forth. This past weekend yes, you did beat us individually.. that confusion is nasty...but i know where it came from. Much respect for [SF] and thanks for clearing up some of the propaganda lol.

I think the same can be said about yourself, you often beat us 35 v 20 but even numbers we felt we beat you on a regular basis.
That being said SF are without a doubt the strongest GvG guild on JQ as prx are pretty much free bags where you guys are always a fight to the death.

As for the transfers, to each his own. Some play for different reasons than others, and it requires a very specific environment to allow them to have fun. Suffice it to say reasons quoted mean nothing, 4 weeks ago they were happy, 2 weeks ago they weren't. We do however wish AGG the best of luck. You guys were a blast to play with and I do look forward to facing you guys on the field!
As to the "propaganda machine", yes and no. We were all willing to /salute FoE with one hand while changing our passwords with the other, until they actively starting causing drama and trying to recruit other guilds to leave the server from our shout box. That is the ONLY reason it was anything other than a fond farewell.
SoS is still a great server, and were going to be working to prove that. No server, no BG, not SOR, none of them can compete with JQ right now in coverage and sheer volume of WvW guilds. Transfers are a fact of the game, and loyalties are to ones guild first, and to a community second. Noone can tell what SoS will be like in a week/month, but those of us still there fighting believe that there is still fight in her, and well do our best to show it. Till then, best of luck T1, well be around!

Somewhere not too long ago in this thread, I posted that they were improving and moving in the right direction. They are.
[Agg], [FoE], and [Tsym] were the 3 guilds you could count on to bring heat every day...win or lose. Claiming any one of them is not important just makes you an ass.
I have no idea the relations between these guilds. I don't care. All of them bring it every day....in numbers.
Any one would be a loss to any server.
Noone who says otherwise here is fooling anyone.

I won't say why or what really happened in Sea of Sorrows to help us make our final decision on this forum.
All I will say here is that I have lost a lot of respect for our former allies on Sea of Sorrows.
What has happened just comes to show that Sea of Sorrows was never really the "Perfect Community".
I appreciate our enemies defending us, but to be honest we were expecting the opposite of what we are seeing on these forums.
For this I have to say I respect Jade Quarry more as a rival.

Best of luck to your server - but please don't make baseless accusations against a guild like FoE which has worked hard in getting Sea of Sorrows to top of NA Tier 1. When you guys were getting stomped in lower tiers, it was FoE and PRX that answered your call for help during your non-existent NA coverage.
FoE helped Sea of Sorrows get to the top. It was willing to take the risk to transfer to a unproven lower tier server like SoS. In FoE and PRX you guys got guilds who had proven Tier 1 track record (before other guilds joined the bandwagon).
FoE answered your call for help in your darkest hours and it does not deserves to be stabbed in the back by Sea of Sorrows community. So stop.

No one is jumping for joy that they are leaving or saying they were not good players.
All I will say is who gives a shit? This isn't Quake, this game does not take years to get good at with teammates that impossible to replace. You can yank anyone from PvE who has money and gear, and turn them into a w3 fighting machine in a few weeks, even less with good leadership. Getting SoS turned around is a matter of getting more of the existing server pop active and effective. Trying to placate guilds that will turncoat at the drop of a hat because they are sure there's greener pastures somewhere else is not a formula for long term success on any server.

There's nothing anybody can do about guilds that want to transfer but it would be a nice gesture to show a little respect (or silence if you find the former impossible) with people whom you played with for a considerable amount of time and achieved great things despite the drama behind their leaving.
On the other hand, it's funny how many patronizing posts come out once you're no longer perceived as a threat by another server. Only a week ago the same people were kicking you while you were down.
SBI and IoJ were in free fall mode. I'm sorry if everyone is not holding hands and shedding tears. Maybe it could have never worked out and it will be better for everyone The fact is though that in the long term transfer cannibalism is not going to make w3 better or break the staleness. If the big w3 update delivers anything, which admittedly I'm not all that confident it will, then there will be chance for everyone to reload with fresh blood.

First, I concur about turning PVE'rs into PVPers. They have to have it in their heart to want to go out there every day and compete, for essentially no benefit other than personal fun. If they had that, they would be there, already.
Second, not sure what you are addressing about the patronizing, I think you are seeing response to clearly BS claims being posted.
I don't have to like them to know whether they are relevant or not in WvW.
Take [Agg], for example. I don't like them, for reasons that go back awhile....but I am not going to sit here and pretend they are irrelevant, and I am not going to sit here and let anyone else pretend it, either.
They are very relevant, and probably much moreso than the anonymous players and guilds posting here that say they aren't.
That is not patronizing. That is truth.

FoE, best of luck out there guys, when we meet on the field we both know well be giving it that extra umph, but you guys im sure are doing what is right for your guild. No reason to stir bad blood, and definitely no need for drama. Whats done is done, and best of luck to you and your team.
Take care, good luck, and thank you for all you did for SoS while you were here! See you on the battlefield!

Just one question. Is that a sword stuck through the sidewall of a tire?
It's been on my mind for weeks now.
On topic: isn't 1800 gems 20 bucks? Not exactly the massive obstacle some seem to think..
No, it's not but now that I look at it that sounds cool too!
It's a hand forged utility knife in the shape of a mini tanto made by my friend K. Scott Hurst of Ironheart Knives. Them things in the background is boobs (under a shirt). I guess some girl held it for the picture he sent before I purchased it. The picture looked so cool I used it for my avatar.

Also, the knife is made of tempered bacon.

you break up the SF & AGG bromance two days before Valentines Day? What gives!
In all seriousness, I understand where you are coming from and I hope we get to clash again on the battlefield soon.
And no our next GvG will not be underwater where AGG has superpowers.

Guildmate: Like 10 commanders just joined our map
Me: How many people do they have with them?
Guildmate: Umm, none
Me: No... I asked how many people do they have with them?
Guildmate: None... its just like 10 commanders on their own...
Me: ???"
Commander zerg was so pro.
EDIT: and no, it was 13 commanders and a few random people, prob 18-20 total.

On the contrary, some of the Sea of Sorrows posters who are always welcoming and inclusive of everyone that joins us, are trashing FoE and AGG as soon as they leave. Really though, they're doing that to reassure themselves that they were no big loss and we'll be fine without them. I wouldn't take anything that is said here personally.
FoE and AGG were great guilds and they gave big contributions to our server, there's no doubt about it. Even though the reasons that they left have been explained to me (the real ones), it still makes no logical sense to me as to why they left. But best of luck to them both, I loved fighting along side your guilds. The things we achieved and good times we had together, no-one can ever take that away from us! (despite what the trolls think
Sea of Sorrows isn't going to fall apart without them, the holes they left will be filled with new up and comers. We've had a community split in the past that made us sink down the tiers, what has happened here pales in comparison. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger.
