All servers have gaps though, JQ just has less than others at present and other servers do not exploit them like some do. For example if SoS's oceanics were more prominent or SoR had a stronger presence JQ would not post NA tick it does sometimes. Anyway, as is always the way there is more than one solution to this and ultimately with the number of non GW2 distractions these things will balance out over time. Just look at the last 5 months in GW2. Hopefully the March update will bring folks back to many servers.

Hopefully folks from SoS would merge with BG and start to enjoy playing Guild Wars 2 again. It pains me immensely to see my brother and sisters on Sea of Sorrows suffering. Jade Evil Quarry did the biggest crime in history of gaming by upsetting my friends on Sea of Sorrows. Why did JQ had to field an equal number of people on most maps when my brothers and sisters from Sea of Sorrows like to roll over 10 people with 80? Why JQ why?

Folks on Blackgate, please be generous and help my brothers and sisters on Sea of Sorrows in there hour of need. Please be generous in donating and sponsoring transfers from SoS over to your server. But also keep some reserve money in case new BG does not turns out to be the most stacked server then my brothers and sisters from Sea of Sorrows may want to move off.

Why did JQ created so much human suffering is beyond me. When I see the new live refuge event in game a tear rolls down my cheek as that event reminds me of my brothers and sisters from Sea of Sorrows. Whenever I see a dead refuge face down on snow I stop there and cry. Then my heart sends a prayer from my brothers and sisters at Sea of Sorrows. I will be transferring from server to server in coming weeks to do fundraiser events so that I can put my brothers and sisters on Sea of Sorrows out of this misery.

I have not said at all that the  other zones are not playing at their best or being disrespectful of anyone, I stated that  the oceanics that were playing into those zones to add additional players are not doing this now because of RL commitments  The same I would expect  goes on with   the other zones when they have holidays they will probably  play over there time zones of normal hrs because they have the time to do so

SF does 5 man havoc teams as well and I know a SF and DoP squad has clashed more than a few times. I love your work! I know iR as well! that was the other one i was thinking of! I remember one time DoP was ganking people going into North Hills and you guys were really tough to take out(don't think we were able to) and you ganked like half the response unit going to hills. Good stuff.

In all seriousness though, could not agree with this more. Coming from someone who has spent their time on the server thats gone through more ups and downs than most. The make up of the tiers is always changing. Things may be rough now, but you have no idea what it'll be like two days from now, or two weeks, or two months.

I encourage everyone on SoS to stay on SoS, and keep up the fight. One day you'll be rewarded for your resilience. If not with points, then at least with a reputation to hang your hat on, as a server that doesn't give up.

Good luck to everyone, and try to have fun one of these days. One could argue it's the point of these games we play.

I really wish people would stop saying JQ just recruited well. It's got nothing to do with recruitment. A couple very well known guilds decided to transfer to JQ to even out things against SoS. A couple of others decided to follow and then more and more came. Eventually it was obvious that JQ would be more than dominant, so a lot of people left their guilds and joined others on JQ. Even people from my guild did this. You can call it "good recruitment" all you want. We all know what really happened.

Were you in those 2 hour recruiting sessions on TS? Where you in the 3 day long 5 page threads on those guild's forums providing answers to questions and validation for why they should come to JQ?

Do you even know what servers those guilds WERE going to go to before we approached them?

We weren't even on the list for a few of those guilds. We recruited them hard, over many objections and barely got the vote in some cases.

You seem to be a pretty reasonable and funny poster, and I can respect that, but you have no clue how much effort we made. I stopped playing WvW for a week because I was too busy shaking hands and making plans with these guilds.

I can understand your frustration, but saying those guilds 'chose' to come to JQ on their own and we didn't recruit them is mad. Mad I tell you. They only chose to come to JQ because we went out of our way to show them what we were about.

Even the ones you think 'followed' other guilds here, most did NOT want to come to JQ to play with their friends UNTIL we spent time talking to them, bringing them into our TS, making friends with them, overcoming objections and quelling fears and finding time slots... heck, some of them lost members to come here, but came because we were the ONLY server actively recruiting them and talking to them daily.

I like you and all, but this is wrong. Very wrong.

Something I've noticed with JQ in EB every morning they seem to focus solely on SOS & completely ignore SOR taking most of the map behind them until they're in SM.

I don't know what goes on in EB really, I don't spend much time there....but there is a fair chance that SoS is a softer target and easier to grab points from.

  In my experience, most of the time it's just that some targets are harder to conquer than others, and it's not unusual to have one server defending vigorously, while another server has fewer people, less siege, or less upgraded towers and keeps.

  So, those softer targets fall while the harder ones remain in enemy hands.

versing JQ is no fun because theyre so stacked... lmfao i know a guy whos on JQ and he says theres a queue every time he goes to wvw. I am willing to bet that JQ has similar numbers of dedicated wvw players as 2 servers combined in tier 2 rankings with the reports of these queue times

Have you seen the scoreboard in T2, why would you think Kain and BG is a good matchup? Now BG, SoS and Sor maybe but Kain needs a little more time to ferment

90% of the time I have no queue, and I do WvW every day.

You may think what you want, last I checked, Red Guard didnt have an spvp team that made 1 of the top 10 in EU. You compare guilds which are not alike in any way while being nobody yourself

I sometimes play that timezone and just generally noticed there seems to be less folks from SoS playing that timezone over the past three/four weeks and its grdaully gone down although a few others have explained that holidays have ended in that part of the world now so thats probably why.
