Took me forever, but I finally finished my first comic for my college cartooning class.

We all know now that in Guild Wars 2 that the opening cinematic for humans covers some brief points about your character's past very close the the beginning of the story. My goal was to tell Archaes Iomhar's story from his childhood up to the point where the cinematic would've lead your character to Shaemoor undersiege.

Very nice! I love the part
And it did remind me of the cinematic, the style was recognizable (even though it is a cartoon!)

Thanks everyone, and yes, I do try to use some poetic language. :)

That's pretty cool, you should do a full story of your character when Guild Wars 2 comes out, which follows the storyline you took with him ingame.=p Makes me want to do my own now.^^

Looking good there! You're very talented, And I love how you run an ink filter on Divinity's Reach to give it a cell-shaded look, so it fits right into the comic cover. Nicely done, that.

I do have to ask, though. Why is his beard that much more darkly coloured than his hair? I noticed that in your avatar prior to this, and never thought to ask, this seems like a good opportunity!

Well in this case, it's probably the only feature Archaes Iomhar and I share in common outside of having blue eyes.

I have dirty blond hair but at the same time I have red facial hair. :)

Nice work. :) I like his beard/hair colour variation, it makes him stand out. I hope you write more, it would be fun to read more about his life fighting his father's battle. I'm sure that was a developing stage for him, and he probably acquired, possibly also lost, some interesting comrades.
