Let's say I'm a level 80 heavy class, and I want to use this armour set (http://wiki.guildwar.../PvE_Dark_Armor) as my permanent gear. The highest quality that this armour seems to be available in is only Masterwork, which is an issue stat-wise.
The obvious solution would be to use fine transmutation stones and exotic armour pieces from another set - but this is where my question arises. What is the most 'efficient' armour to transmute?
I'd be looking for P/V/T stats, so for example I could farm tokens in Ascalonian Catacombs and then transmute the two sets so I end up with the Dark Armour appearance and the AC armour stats.
Basically, is this the most efficient way of accomplishing what I'm trying to do, or is there a better/simpler way?
Thanks for reading, and sorry if it sounded confusing.
