Where did I claim the grind was removed?...
You replied and quoted Lordkrall directly on his post where he concluded saying
"There is nothing in the cash shop that removes the "grinding" after all.
with
"You can sell Gems and use the money to buy precursors, dyes, exotic gear and pretty much most of what you need."

Was that not the intention of your quoting of his post?
The rest of your most recent post is...

Anet could easily do a lot of things.
The US government could easily do a lot of things.
You and I could easily do a lot of things.
Do you seriously want to base your argument on assumptions that just potentially, technically could happen?

I really love your shiny hat, what brand of foil did you use?

You can purchase gold with gems and use it to buy most gear in the game without having to grind for it. This is a fact, regardless of how you want to twist my words around. My point is clear enough for those not trying to be deliberately obtuse.  I never said that "grinding was removed from the game" and you might note that His Lordship put "grinding" in scare quotes to imply it doesn't exist.

I see you're back with accusations of tinfoilism as a counter to common sense and critical thinking. But even a 1/2" thick lead helmet can't block the Illuminati mind-control rays needed to induce this much blind faith and obsequious servility on behalf of corporations, so sharing my tinfoil techniques will be of little use to you.

The fact of the matter actually is that you are implying this is all a devious ploy by Anet to make players buy gems to convert to gold, so they can buy the stuff they want without grinding for it.

When I pointed out that if everyone decides to skip the grind, there would be nothing to buy no matter how much gold you have....

You actually suggested that Anet is ethically capable of creating supply in the trading post to fuel the gem selling market, to make up for the lack of player grinded items.

Based
On
What?

Anyway, my original point was meant to be this:
Anet is not the one who allow you to skip the grind as long as you pay money to buy and sell gems.

The other random unknown player who actually grinded, and then list his whatever item you wanted to get, is the one who allow you to skip that grind.

That screenshot isn't the ultimate proof of anything except you thinking greens are the GW1 equivalent of exotics.  Low req gold weapons with rare/desirable skins are what I would consider the exotics for GW1.  How many of those did you get yesterday?

That shows a complete lack of understanding of the gear system.
"Low req golds with desirable skins" (outside of certain broken items) represent vanity. Exotics represent power.

If we imagined that there wasn't a trading post and all purchases were just from NPCs, do you think we'd still see the option to buy gold? I'm not terribly 'in the know' in regards to the game's economy so I'm unaware of other benefits that come from turning cash into game bucks.
