Vanishing Legacy was formed right at the start of GW2 lauch and has been going strong ever since. Whether you're a seasoned MMO veteran, or completely new to the
whole MMO thing, if you're looking for a casual-friendly, amicable atmosphere,
Vanishing Legacy is the place for you.


Our focus for GW2 include:

Guild missions (all types unlocked)
Running dungeons at all levels (story, explorable, fractals)

s/tPVP
Leveling together
Scheduled WvW nights

Guild Dynamic Events runs
Nerding around about Guild Wars 2


We don't have a large number of rules or guidelines:

Our members are 21 years of age, or older
We try to be excellent to each other
Real life is more important than in-game
Nobody's expected to do anything but have a good time




Vanishing Legacy, whats it all about ...

We would like to describe ourselves as "a mature gamers guild" as one of our main rules is our age limit for new members. If you want to join "Vanishing Legacy" you have to be at least 21 years old and generally be considered as a mature by yourself as well as others. By mature we mean relaxed and laid back, yet serious when required, friendly and willing to help others and above all tolerant and willing to compromise when needed. Our most important rule however is that "Real life comes first", as we are here to enjoy our time in game and we understand that there are other more pressing things such as families and/or work.

Our goal is to structure our leadership in such a way to reflect above requirements and give freedom to our members to fully enjoy their time spent in game and not to worry about the meaningless rules and boundaries other guilds usually impose on their members. We will tend to involve all our members in decision making as much as possible, but some core decisions sometimes will be made by Guild Officers/Leaders themselves.

We consider ourselves a casual guild and above all would like to keep a friendly, family like atmosphere within the guild. However, casual does not mean disorganized, when it comes to guild group activities (guild missions, explorable dungeons, WvW, sPvP, etc) we can be and always strive to be highly organized and disciplined, but will still try to enjoy our gaming and not have it become a second job. We have now unlocked all types of guild missions and run those at regular scheduled times during the week. We also have planned guild WvW and sPvP events although guildies team up to do that all the time. Ppl also regularly run dungeons and fractals so there are never ending opportunities to do things together.

We prefer and highly encourage guild group play, but we understand that our members can't take part in every group event. We encourage our members to use both guild voice comms (even if only for listening) and guild forum as much as possible, so even when you are soloing you will feel you are part of the guild.

We strive to be drama free, but from our experience we know that unfortunately sometimes drama is unavoidable. However, when it does occur, we will try to resolve it swiftly and fairly by discussing matters with all sides involved. We will try to do this in a transparent manner and not hide anything from our members. We are adults and we will treat you as one.

Hey again.

We are a very active guild that are planning to do even more events then we do now.
We run dungeons every night, story and explorable, and we do noobie dungeon nights for the new people to Guild Wars 2: where we teach you how to run dungeons in a fun and friendly way.
Other event we have are PvP, and Temple events. One is organised PvP with guildies and the other is events doing temples, as a guild, in Orr. Both are great fun, but we are going to do more. We have now started with Guild Missions and then we are going to run them regularly.
So join us to become part of a community that is active and runs loads of events.

We now have 3 type’s of guild mission and are well on our way to the next. We plan to do them all every week, plus loads of others such as WvW.
Many of our events take part in the weekend, as a lot of players can make it then, however we are also running Guild missions and other events in the week for those who can make it.

Vanishing Legacy is starting to do a lot more new events, such as Group Leveling to get those alts or mains up and other events. Soon in 2 week we shall have Challenge missions, which shall mean that in our guild we can earn 5 commendations week if you do all the events.

Regarding what activities you can expect, we organize all of our events so you can plan when to use your free time. That way we all get on at the same time for Guild Missions, dungeons and WvW.

Though we run a lot of events in the weekend, as most have that time free, we also run many events during the week. Such as Guild Rush, group leveling and Fractal night.
