So I was trying to find out if one can salvage a skin of a weapon (like for instance the staff scythe skin) with a mystic salvage kit... If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it :)
tnx in advanced,

Nope, the only way to transfer skins is with the Transmution Stones

Wait what? Why does it only work if you put it on a white item? I thought you could put it on any item and then always transfer the look to another via transmute stone.

http://wiki.guildwar...smutation_Stone

Basic Transmutation stone for any item below 80(you want to keep the skin, just use another stone).
Fine Transmutation stone for level 80 items.
