So I was a member of Sinister Swarm on SoR for a year or so and today was kicked for asking for CoF speed runs. They said I was being exclusive, although people advertised for them all the time. Whats the strangest reason you have been kicked from a guild ?

You have been banned for the following reason:
left guild after warning on speed runs in chat.

Date the ban will be lifted: 02-04-2015, 03:00 PM

FYI you left the Guild on your own, after we had asked you politely not to advertise in this way in Guild Chat.

To be honest, I'd probably quit myself aswell in a situation like that. At least I'd feel pretty darn pissed if my guildies were to act that way.

I mean c'mon. Someone's been in your guild for a damn YEAR and yet you tell him not to try and find a group for a dungeon using guild chat. Some people might actually be in a guild just for the sole purpose of finding decent groups.

Sheesh.

In GW I got kicked once for advising another member not to play a Paragon in areas where parties are limited to 4 people. Officer said "All professions are equally strong in all areas" and kicked me.

Had a good laugh over that.

Even as someone who loves the para, i gotta say thats pretty funny lol

The Problem with his actions and those of others was taking pugs over Guildies, cause a guildie wasn't max level but was level enough to run the dungeon.

Lets not turn this into a guild drama thread. Any more posts on this topic will be removed.

I have been in guilds that fell apart being effectively "kicked" since it left me alone.

However I have seen two hilarious kicks both fueled by alcohol and both were reinvited by yours truly.

1.  How to put this mildly... the young lady jested she was inclined to demonstrate homosexual behaviors.   The normally straight but on this night very drunk guild officer then demand it be so and her advances were spurned so she kicked her.  I had to play diplomat there and could not stop laughing.

2.  No context for this one: refusal to salute Girl Hitler.
