Shame this isn't getting big hype except in smaller gaming communities. Even /r/gaming on reddit has people who are super impressed and think this series is coming out of nowhere.
How do you know it isn't getting the hype? I see a lot more people talking about the game than Witcher 2. It has won more accolades at trade show constantly and this is almost 1 year +/- 3 months before release and with very little direct marketing.

Big hype results in being overhyped pretty fast. Be glad it doesn't get much hype..

Can't wait to play it. But I will have to. Witcher 1&2 were a mess at release, but they pushed them up to great games. Maybe they learn out of their mistakes, but either way, I'm sure I will have another game-jewel in my collection. And i don't care if i have to wait some months to patch it up.

PS: They can't make the release worse than X:Rebirth *cough cough*

The Witcher 3 will probably have a few DLCs so I think I'll wait for a while for it to go on sale.  No use in buying single-player games at release in my opinion, they only get better with time. I am intrigued with the open world nature of this game, the linear nature of the first two put me off.

But if you like the studio and want to show your support, you buy it at release like I am. Also if you don't want it to be spoiled for you, youp also buy it at release.

I love this serie too much to not buy a boxed copy so I can't guarantee to buy it on release. I still regret buying the 2nd game on gog even though more cash goes to CDred.

This and Dark Souls 2 are my most anticipated games.

This truly is the darkest timeline of them all!

But on a serious note, meh. shit happens in game development all the time.

A bit sad about the delay but at the same time glad they are taking their time and not rushing it. I wonder if my PC is still capable of running it 1 year from now on, though...
