Sadly the warrior does suck in competitive spvp. You notice the huge difference and the easy mode of other classes when you play a mesmer or a thief.

Just tag along with other members and help them take down players. Bulls charge instead of stomp. Embrace the pain and burst mastery gives you Burst abilities that are always up. 7 sec cooldown. I blow my F1, quickly switch to another weapon and blow my other F1 with the adrenaline build up from weapon swapping etc. The stun's don't have to be long its just the disruptive process that throws people off their game.
You just gotta cycle through the weapons and bursts fast and make sure you spread your CCs..example..two people stomping your budy: mace 3 on one, Burst mace on another, drop a rez flag.
Thieve's, mesmers, eles etc have default stun breakers from weapons etc and they don't have to sacrifice a slot on a crappy ability to get one. They have more trouble breaking from immob and that's what I use. Bull's charge to close the gap, throw bolas on them when they are down. Most people wait for you to blow frenzy to teleport away or they are just slow that way. Immobilize on them is not affected by stun breakers. However, the mesmer teleports and I think the thieve's shadow step helps them teleport away even if you immobilize essentially wasting your immob. It's really a horrible broken pvp system.
You can use it as a bunker with stomp-not as good as other class bunkers, obviously- .
I just think that warriors in spvp -since they are lacking in gap closers- should force the enemy to come to you or you don't give them a reason to get away:
1.Tag along with someone. They close the gaps for you on the target and your the cc helping them hold the target down. Few people can juggle two players especially since this game does not favor skill.
If a team switches to you recognizing that you are a bigger threat -usually happens near the end of the match- but if that happens your tankier with solider/cleric/runes and you got shield 5.
2.Bunker but I use that as a last option.

It focuses on CC + buffin/healin the group. You can switch the banner if you think you will be bunkering. More than one banner is a waste of slot since heals don't stack. Also, you can have the banner up 24/7 for swiftness while moving around.
I'm thinking of using sword/warhorn with the 2nd build since sword burst immobilizes and is harder to get out of than Mace burst. Warhorn gives you the buffs. The condition conversion into boons on the warhorn sucks since it goes for the weakest condition 1st -which is reapplied after right away- instead of the better ones so you don't get protection stability etc, unfortunately.
