Hey people. I've nearly got the mats for a Quiver of Swift Flight, and would like to know what the deal is with infusion, as wiki is somewhat vauge.

Namely, can I slap an infusion on it (for the time being) to get some AR, and use it while I save for the upgrade mats. Can I then upgrade it, and slap a different infusion on it, assuming that it overwrites the old one, or that the old one is removed by upgrading?

- You gonna craft your Quiver of Swift Flight, then buy a Infusion to use on it.

- When you have the mats to Infuse your Quiver, it gonna add a 5 Agony Resistance on it and a brand new empty infusion slot.

- You gonna have to buy another infusion to put on you new Infused Quiver.

PS : If you put a Vital Infusion for example (5 Agony Resistance and 5 Vitality) on your Quiver, then you infuse your Quiver. You still gonna have 5 Agony Resistance plus a empty Infusion slot.

Don't put an expensive infusion on an uninfused item. Wait until you upgrade it before putting the special infusions...stick with the Versatile Simple infusion until then, because you DO lose your infusion when you upgrade.

Thanks guys, thats a bit more clear. Can you overwrite an infusion, like any other upgrade?

Similar question, can you put ascended gear in the forge?

Yes you can overwrite an infusion.

If you choose a simple infusion, but later get a fancy one with other stats it just overwrites the current one.


No you can not put 4 ascended rings in the forge  etc.

However you can use the forge to upgrade ascended rings and backslots with specific recipes
