Hey guys is was wandering if mesmers were really that good in pve PVP wvw?

yep they are. their weapon sets feel boring after a while though. I feel like their only fun weapon sets are greatsword / staff

Yes they are. They get boring in PvE after a while, because you'll basically do a skill rotation from summoning your clones and phantasms, then shatter them, resummon etc...

well in spvp,at start you will be overwhelm by so many clones but after a while you can see a moving and behavior pattern of clones and player,so just go for player,they don't have much hp,in wvw they are KINGS,i remember when we were attacking some tower and i thought we will get it for sure,then one mesmer went behind us,opened portal and OMG,what a massacre,it was painful

Are there any certain good builds that destroys in SPVP?? A more dps build?

This can be said for practically every profession. Whatever build/profession you run you do X, Y, Z then X again and repeat til mob dies.

@OP, yes, Mesmer is one of the "T1" professions for PvE (alongside Warrior/Guardian), and are one of, if not THE, profession with the most potential in PvP/WvW. It's always fun to watch less experienced players run around killing clones as they don't know how to tell which one is the Mesmer (somehow), or kill themselves with Confusion.

Well to be fair you need to play the mesmer to know where you.appear.when you do clones of yourself, but generally you always appear behind. Well,.clones don't move much, so a clever mesmer doesn't either.
