Need a little help getting me threw the last 10 levels. I need to dump this "glass canon" and give my self a little durability I was thinking knights gear with 10/30/20/0/0 and gem it with power/crit? I'd love to do the sword axe but i don't think i'll be able to withstand it. DPS now is good with GS, staying alive is the issue. Any input or direction i'd appreciate it.

Omnomberry (or cheaper versions i.e. mixed berry) pies.
That's it, especially since it sounds like you're just doing overworld PvE which is extremely easy.

Pies are indeed nice when you get to 80, but if I read the OP correctly, he's asking how to survive the levels 70-80
If you have lower level areas left to finish, you can always continue going through those. If you haven't crafted yet, maxing one crafting profession will also give you 10 levels (if you have the materials or gold to purchase mats).
Which is why I noted cheaper versions (i.e. lower level requ) like mixed berry pies.

Pies and other consumables are always helpful, use them until you're 80. Once you hit 80 and get your exotic gear (or rare I guess) it gets easy, otherwise don't sweat it.
Personally, I always recommend warriors put 20 into the last stat tree and get the trait where you always rally when you kill in vengeance. Saved me a lot of times, even in dungeons.

ok maybe i was a little vague in what i'm looking for let me expand. I ran a sigil build up to the mid 40's then it started to not be preforming so i read and changed to more of a sword/sword or sword/axe bleed build. that too has seemed to run its course so what i'm asking is what type of build and gear "traits" should i be looking at going forward into the 70-80 zone?
example.. go back to a GS power/crit build? Go to a more defense base sword/board/condition build or start stcking more toughness
I wanted to get a feel from people who been there done that and what they used and why they went that way. I'm not prone to a "specific" build just one that works and not beating up myself up for no reason. thanks

I've seen people who use signet builds from the moment they get them first up to the max level, but I found myself switching some of the signets to shouts around lvl 50 or so. Especially "Shake It Off" comes to great use when the enemy starts using Crowd Control skills more in the later zones, and "For Great Justice" is great for the almost constant Fury (especially when combined with the Signet of Rage) and some Might for the extra damage. All of the weapons are viable for PvE, so it's more of a question of personal style... I went from around 30 to max with combinations of Axe/Axe, Axe/Mace and Hammer depending on what I found as drops, always kept a Rifle as a secondary for Champions that hit hard in melee though.

Well what's getting you down? Are you not able to clear conditions well enough? Are you just standing there and getting beat on? Do you need more endurance regen?
I'm gonna second slotting FJG/SIO/SoR. For the heal use whatever works situationally. For the 3rd utility possibly On My Mark and Signet of Endurance are good options.
As for weapons I've grown fond of Axe/Mace lately. I can't comment on Greatsword, though because I just don't like it.
