To provide context, i run a AH crithammer build (0/0/30/30/10) But right now, i am unsure what sigil is best to get for my build. Could i have some advice on this?

At the moment, the sigils i'm considering are:

- Blood (30% life steal on crit) - but wiki page says its bugged on 2h weapons.

- Strength (30% might on crit) - i figured this would go well with EM & might stacking but unsure if its worth it.

- Perception (stack precision)

- Accuracy (5% crit chance)

- Force (5% damage)

Any other suggestions would be welcome thanks :D

All depends upon your needs and what you primarily play - WvW, PvE, etc.

Do you switch weapons a lot? If so, hydromancy is the bomb.

If you primarily run PvE and want/need power or precision, then perception or bloodlust is the bomb.

If you primarily run WvW, accuracy or strength are nice given that you do not have to worry about those 25 stacks of power or precision evaporating before your eyes when downed or outright obliterated.

The effects of Force are minimal, at best.

Well, i run mainly PvE/Dungeons and the occasional WvW. So then between the ones you have suggested, would precision, accuracy or strength be the best choice?

Stacking sigils are bad for dungeons.  Don't use them.  Since your crit rate will be super low on hammer you might as well run something else altogether, since you won't really be doing a lot of damage no matter how you build it.

Accuracy. More crits = more heals with AH/pies and damage.

Is all about the context/purpose.

The hammer is a AoE damage/control weapon, in WvW the hydromancy sigil is perfect due ehnaces the cc properties and the 9 sec cooldown of the sigil fits perfectly with the 10 sec cooldown in weapon swap with a class (Guardian) that can't use Fast Swaps as the Warrior. Energy sigil is another great option in WvW.

In dungeons probably your build lacks a bit in crit chance (no points in Radiance) so sigils based on that will underperfom, so either Accuracy or Force.

Stacking sigils are fine if you aren't being downed or are skipping lots of mobs. Damage for the hammer being low is arguable, crit being low on the other hand has nothing to do with hammer as a weapon choice. It's quite easy to have +50% crit with consumables no matter what your weapon choice and differences between crit chances post 50% in terms of proccing effects that have an internal cooldown are negligible. In fact the hammer is technically one of the best weapons to use in terms of proc effects since it has slow attack swings (meaning less internal cooldown conflicting) and has 6 attacks in it's AA chain single target and the highest by far against multi-targets.

That being said, Accuracy and Force are still great all around choices and should be considered even if you also use a stacking sigil.

There is something to consider about the hammer, it attacks as slow as a snail stuck in glue.

This means that sigil of strength, sigil of blood & other sgils that have a proc Cd of less then 5 seconds arent going to be able to reach their full potential.

Knowing this I would suggest using one of the following

1: Sigil of fire is great for damage & burst

2: Sigil of superior accuracy
&
3: Sigil of force are great for a consistent boost in damage

4: Sigil of bloodlust
&
5: Sigil of Minor accuracy are alright if you can guarantee you won't be downed, thus tend to be better for ranged specs

6: Sigil of energy is good if your wearing + healing gear & dodge healing allot

7: Sigil of leaching is great as it has a 1k health steal on weapon swap
&
8: Sigil of hyrdomancy is great in Spvp when surrounded by enemies.

Which one you want depends on what you want to do.
