Dear fellow thieves

It is I Prince Vante, destroyer of servers, son of a great King. My mission is to get our entire class deleted by giving you these wonderful gifts I bare. I present you the ultimate S/D + SB builds in the entire universe. Before you try these builds you must train in 100x gravity and study my awesome video because it takes some skill to use these efficiently. In my video I have some old and new clips showing some awesome fights with these two builds solo (group videos soon to come):

Prince Vante’s A build: http://www.guildhead...n70V7ofD70m8ofY

Brief summary; what you want to do with this build is build up your might with dodges and conserve at least 6 ish initiative for max damage, not as hard as it sounds really, this build is also what you want to start off with because it has more hp and way more room for mistakes. Also daze lock to the butt as usual.
Best Food to use: Superior Sharpening Stones (Gain power equal to 6% of your toughness, Gain power equal to 4% of your vitality…it can also be used with other foods at the same time) Bowls of orrian Truffle and Meat stew ( 100% chance to gain might when dodge) or Mango Pies (Gain health every second +70 vitality) if you want to be more tanky

Prince Vante’s B build: http://www.guildhead...n70V7ofD70m8ofY

Brief summary; This build is for all you high crit damage junkys out there, its no glass cannon but it hits very hard and has great survival, if you know what your doing that is. it’s less forgiving if you get hit and more reliant on your svanir rune to save your butt when you really mess up. Oh yes and daze lock to the butt as usual.
Best food to use:Superior Sharpening Stones (Gain power equal to 6% of your toughness, Gain power equal to 4% of your vitality…it can also be used with other foods at the same time) Mango Pies (Gain health every second +70 vitality)

~Gear~
Helm: Valkyrie
Shoulder: Beserker
Chest: Beserker
Hands: Valkyrie
Legs: Valkyrie
Boots: Valkyrie
Jewels: full Berserker
Sword: Berserker
(2)Daggers: Beserker (sigil of fire and sigil of bloodlust on each)
Shortbow: Mystic Crescent

Q/A
Q: Hey Vante why is your video so effing long?
A: Because it is very hard to show the awsomeness of these 2 builds for the very first time in just 10 minutes. No seriously it could have been 40 mins+..
Q: Hey Vante im actually dying with these amazing builds how could this be? :<
A: use infiltrator’s strike + shadow return more it is your fwend !
Q: LOL WTF WHY SVANIR RUNE?
A: why you ask? Because it turns you into a block of invincible ice and gives you 2 or more lives 100% guaranteed if you use it right with your shadowstep + shadow returns, yes 100% guaranteed lol.
“Basically for every 90s cd you become invulnerable if you get down to 20% health for 5 seconds it works well with the last refuge trait and it gives you a high chance to get away.
Also if you save your shadowstep or shadow return at the right time you can just blink while you are invulnerable during that 5 second duration lol its fking great.”
Q: why are you so good Vante?
A: I am the internet’s jesus.
Q: is the food your suggesting the only best food I should be eating for these builds to be super duper stronk?
A: no but its what I use personally and what I used in my video
Enjoy!
P.S. My speech bubbles are amazing ef you."

these builds perform best in wvw I have a different tpvp build (its pretty much the same) that ill post some time soon. Atm cant give it out though :x

looks solid, but i wouldn't call this new. Several months ago someone was promoting a very similar S/D build.

You've got some good things going with #2. combining a couple of the 50% enemy HP triggers. Personally i would do the acrobatics line a bit different. Never been a big fan of vigor on heal.

How does the sigil of blood feel for the shortbow? I used to run it but it healed so little it was much better to put something with more utility in the SB. But i do have to ask, (cause i cant remember and dont feel like looking it up) does the heal from the sigil of blood trigger the vigor from your trait line? (my gut says no, because when using signet of malice only the active triggers on heal effects, not the passive)

Very nice video. It's nice to see what can be achieved with S/D. I have just recently discovered the virtues of using S/D in WvW, and I am having a lot of fun.

You should also post this on the official GW2 forums.

Wish that Rune had some other decent stats cos that block of ice is so cool! The build is very mobile and very similar to mine... In fact you will prob find the most hard core sd lovers are on this site... Not much sd love over on the officials.. Nice vid

Not to stroke myself or anything but I actually posted this on official forums several months ago lool. Yea recently ive been changing the vigor on heals for the 50% speed on stealth instead but either is fine. I just love the extra dodges I get from the vigor especially when im in the middle of a zerg like usual. The sigil of blood on the shortbow is really nice especially for my B build with more crit, its really nice when you combine that sigil along with the mango pies food that I use, since I dont have the regen during stealth trait its a pretty good alturnative if you know how to kite with shortbow.

yea since this already hits hard from the traits and gear stats alone I looked into a more defensive rune and this is by far the best defensive rune there. My build gives you a "jack of all trades" kind of feeling because of this rune, and yea I had a few haters on the officials but more people fell in love with my builds + use of svanir rune. I noticed more experienced thieves are starting to main s/d more too
