Whether or not this game is missing out and no longer worth playing is subjective. I have been playing since the first BWE, and I still enjoy it. I love exploring, leveling alts, and having fun. I will play as long as it is still fun. I do not want to play a game that feels like work.
Is GW2 worth playing again?

Yes, I'm sure 3 million people are playing consistently since launch? lol! Yet, we see threads like this all the time. My guild alone has lost over 60 players since launch. How do they measure concurrency? Unique account log ins with each sale go up. However, those the bought the game at launch would have to still log in consistently for it to go up unless they sold another million to replace those that left? BTW, I'm sure all the past PR statements in MMOs were true as well.
Concurrency means the amount of players logging in AT THE SAME TIME. Not how many that logs in during a week, or even a day, but rather how many is logged in at the same time.
