VERY bottom of the loot pile

Very few other classes even appeal to me and i would consider it blasphemous to consider any other class for a main.
Only hit 80 at the turn of the year. Have been casually accumulating exotics from all sources.
Now nades piss me off. Aesthetically they are lacking. Pack looks crap and it looks like your feeding ducks...
EG on the other hand! id be hard pressed to find a steazier looking piece of equipment in the whole game. Food and gear, 15+ stacks of bleed + weakness, #4 IS awesome and hilarious, despite spending a few boss fights in a lava bath xD. With perma vigor, retaliation and regeneration and large spot heals from 2x Super Elixir and healing turret. Not to mention the burns and blinds from pistol. My damage out put suffices and unless the whole group wipes i never die. The heals i keep spragging keep the group chugging on. I swear to god, in a few runs, ive even ressed 30+ times.
When it comes to loot however, i get shit all, all the time. ALL THE TIME.
SORT IT THE FUU OUT.
I understand the patch coming at the end of Feb is to address some loot issues. However, no were does it hint that changes to the dps/reward bismal system are to change. If baby-classes (warrior) are sucking up all the decent loot. With the easiest, most boring class, in the entire game. AND purely because other classes are keeping them alive and buffing them all the time.
Perhaps out of spite il be less liberal with my resses.
And there aint no fuuuing way im going to run around feeding the pigeons and ducks in high end dungeons and fractals.(nades). JUST so i can have the only viable engineer build for pve loot.
Sort it out, before the game become OFFENSIVE or noubt. And the support build dies for ever. Which would be a shame.

also if you are an engineer you do know that you don't have to be a support build try the FT it is a really fun DPS build
PS if you read more it will also say that DMG doesn't effect type of Loot just whether you get any or not

If you're running zerg events in orr, drop the support act. There it's every man for himself, and both flamethrower and coated bullet pistols are among the best taggers in the game. Warriors are lucky if they can even reach targets before a zerg vaporizes them.

Dude you are not only one that get`s crap loot, by far worse part of GW2 experience is LOOT (reward) that is lack of the mentioned !!!
This all turns lively game into crapy sub Korean GRIND that never ends !
p.s. as far it goes with PvE content (karma runs, farm or whatever) you can drop support to be honest it`s really not needed. I mean even in Fractals people got to lvl 70-80 using nothing more then glass cannon builds (and "zerker" gear) !

That you get any at all or are you meaning to say you always end up getting stuff you cannot use?
Damage does not affect the quality of the loot you get, only whether you qualify for loot.
Since you already said your damage output apparently suffices...
If your issue is with always getting drops you can't use, well... you can only use 3 types of weapons, compared to the weapon master warriors.
Naturally your usable loot ratio would be lower, so just sell those loot that you do get to buy gear you can use.
And no, other players cannot "suck up" your decent loot.
Every player gets his own individual loot table, they are not shared.

I think it seems like you're more unlucky than anything, I've never noticed a loot disparity with my engineer

If someone is focused more on providing regen, condi cleansing, throwing heals and buffs to not do enough damage or to not tag every single mob then he is screwed.
Playing support is shot to the head atm loot-wise

Point being no one gets much that is actually good from drops in general PvE events. The only 3 exotic drops I have ever had were from dungeons. All 3 were marginal subpar items and 2 were things I could not even equip. No one gets Jack from these things.
I actually agree with you though that the reward system is terrible and unfair. My advice horrible as it is, is first make sure you tag everything once, then play normally. Or be like me and skip most PvE events entirely.

It's not the class.

Besides, it also has value getting loot you don't need if other people need it. That's why there's an option for trading. Some drops are practically worthless, but that's ok too, because that creates excitement for when you get the good things.
That's not to say there's no problem with the loot system as it is. There definitely is. I just don't see the problem in the things you're addressing.
Also: "Perhaps out of spite il be less liberal with my resses." If you do this you're an unbelievable deuche.
