I plan to get myself an extra pair of ghastly daggers and put two superior sigils of night for 20% extra damage when it's night time. (meant to switch them only at night)

The question is, is it worth it compared to my two daggers with superior sigil of air and superior sigil of force?

Its definitively better for your damage. I mean its 20% damage vs a single target attack on crits and 5% damage. It doesn't even compare.

But is it worth it? You got 40min of night per 2 hours. Personally i wouldn't do it, but its up to you. If you have unused dungeon tokens and don't give a damn about switch your weapons, why not.

Yeah I plan to do this after I have tokens I don't need anymore. The thing is I don't know how much the 1-2k damage every 5 seconds from sigil of air compares to a full 20% damage for an extended time.

Also don't dungeons always count as night time when you're inside them? I mean I always see other people's ghastly weapons glow when they're inside dungeons.

Officially from Robert Hrouda : ''Different dungeons have different set times that do not progress with the normal day/night cycle. So they will always be a specific time no matter what.
Some are day, and some are night.''

I never really tested it. I have a ghastly greatsword on my Guardian by i don't do all dungeon with him. I'm pretty sure AC and TA could be always at night but i think i remember seeing my greatsword not glowing in TA so i'm really not sure.

get an ac weapon and walk into every dungeon.  if it glows, then you will get the sigil of night bonuses on it IIRC, if not you won't get the sigil bonuses.

I know it works in CoF and AC.  I can't confirm any of the other ones off the top of my head.
