World Boss Event Chests - Bad idea?

Increased the loot rewards on many world boss chests, including the chests in Orr temples and the dragon chests.
But then I read:
Fixed a bug on certain world boss chests that was causing them to drop fewer rewards than intended. These chests can now only be looted once per day, to encourage players to fight multiple bosses and spread out across the world.
I'm not sure who's taking the decisions on these "genius" ideas but more than encourage they're literally forcing the players to spread and that's a no go in my book.
Wasn't this supposed to be a "theme park" game? If they limit us to 1 chest per day on each boss how the hell that concept makes any sense?
I guess I'll have to see for myself in game before judging but I'm not liking this.
Thoughts?

No one said about farming the same chest over and over. But if I'm in a zone multiple times a day and I happen to see the same world boss event going on BY CHANCE and I want to do it for the second time on the same day, ANet it's like it's telling me "You may as well be on your way, no reward even if you do your part".
After all wasn't GW2 supposed to be a theme park game? So why ANet is now playing police forcing us to go there and there?
For those wondering, no I don't spend the whole time playing in same area all day. I do variate the zones I play in but I surely don't feel good feeling kicked from an event I want to do.

No, where'd you get that idea?
Anyway, I think anything that forces players to spread out is a good thing. I'm tired of seeing people clump up in only a few zones while others are completely barren.
EDIT: I should have said "encourages" not "forces". There is nothing stopping you from continuing to stick around in a zone and redoing the world events. You just won't be rewarded as much. It's not much different from the diminishing returns we see in other aspects of the game.

A few more googling around will point a lot to the game's kind of gameplay.
Secondly, people clump up in the usual areas for a good reason and that's better rewards. Now if you just tell players "you can't get the chest more than once a day on said area" people will just go there get the daily chest and won't return till tomorrow.
However, if you told players "hey, we improved the rewards on all world boss chests" and stopped there, people are more likely to return to that said area more than once everyday cause better rewards = faster money, and that's what players want.
EDIT: If you make the math, better rewards = people will hop from an area to another to do as much events as possible.
I can agree that low level areas won't give amazing loot since they're easily done but I don't see it reasonable 1 chest a day for each boss.
Hell for that matter I'd have preferred the rewards as they were at least I could open more than once. I've done Jormag after the update and most players got 2 golds, how does that compare to opening those dragon chests more than once? I'd say the drops got worse rather than better.

These changes are going to kill the game. I'm upset about that...I had such high hopes. But if all the good things in the game anymore need to be ground out or you're forced to guild up with people you don't know, care about, or want to associate yourself with, there's really no more point to play this game.

It's not like they're up with Ancient Karka chests...a couple rares once per day is meh, especially considering how long it takes for some of these events.
I will say that the Maw event in Wayfarer is not one of these one-a-day chests. I will assume though that the three dragons, shadow behemoth, and maybe the megadestroyer will be.

Exactly my point, It's not like ANet is giving us precursors or god knows what with this new patch and by the time the event resets I'd have done a dozen different things in the game before going back to that boss.

ANet: Sorry but our records indicate you found that interesting less than 24 hours ago. You'll have to find something else to do. How about some other events like ______?
Random Player: But I don't find those to be fun...
ANet: YOU DARE QUESTION US!? WE TELL YOU WHAT IS FUN!

How about the satisfaction you get for helping others out? Thats usually enough reward for me;)

It keeps players from mass farming one area. It's a great idea I like it.

People are going to do the event once a day then avoid it.
So good luck finding enough people to do them o_O

This is one of my concerns as well. If you've already done the boss event once that day, why in the world would you stick around to do it again? What if that means that it becomes increasingly hard to actually get the event completed, simply because there will be fewer people doing it than there might have been otherwise?
I also really don't like 24 hour resets. What if I do it one night at 10pm because that's the only time I have to play, but the next night I can only play from 8-9pm? That means I just have to skip it for the whole day. A shorter reset would have been better in my opinion... it wouldn't have to be anything crazy, but something like every 6 or 12 hours would have been fine.

That was a concern of mine for the bosses that used to be commonly done like shatterer. But I think there will still be people throughout the day who need to get their daily bosses done. Maybe those who get on really late might have a tougher time. However, before certain events wouldn't get done at all anyway. At least now they are actually getting done.
