4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy?
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game?
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)

1a. PvE - Warrior
1b. PvP/WvW Thief
2a. PvE - Ranger/Necro
2b. PvP/WvW - Warrior/Engineer
3. sPvP needs most work to be brought up to the quality of the others, PvE open world needs expansion.
4. 7 - Most gear is easily attainable from an economic standpoint, although certain things do get out of hand (Precursors, etc...)
5. 4 - Aside from bugs that allow exploits in WvW and bugs with Dungeons allowing bosses to be killed trivially, few to no major progress blocking bugs exist in the game any more.
6. sPvP
7. 9 - Might be higher than the average, as I play on a smaller Server with a great guild. Has a family feel to it most of the time.

1. Guardian  (Mesmer in PvP)
2. Ranger
3. PvE dungeons (although they are getting better)
4. 8  Seems pretty robust to me
5. 4  I often find bugs, but nothing gamebreaking.
6. WvW  Like it, but I prefer to do it with certain people that are not always online, will need to go out and find new WvW partners I guess.
7. 10  Never had a better social experience.

Ditto (more or less). I'd rate community interaction to be 6.

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”
There is none, all class's preform the way the way Anet wanted them to preform, if i had a choice tho it be mesmers the rate at which they can get illusions needs to be toned down or the illusions made like wet paper, like necro minions. easy to kill easy to deal with but none spammable like thieve skills.

2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”?
Once again i dont think there is an underpowered class, like smash bros any character it just has be used right.

3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) 1st WvW that pretty much end game and it needs to feel like it has more of a purpose than just, its there. and PvP the 3 point system is starting to get dull and boring and the fact its nothing but a who can zerg better fest, no real need for strategy, the need to make it more stragtegic so that it wont resort to people just running around in big groups.

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy? 5, its easy to get money but then things just cost way too much for no reason

5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game? 8, there are little things but enough to make me want to rant about

6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) PvE but my gracious i get so bored  i did it all on my level 80 i can stand to do it again on my alt theres no real variation in what you do, go in kill a few things, and leave, no reason to stay beyond that

7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc) 2 to be frankly honest, nothing i would brag about if they improve WvW tho then hey it may encourage a better community, PvE JORMAG/SHATTER/TEQ, *insert Orr event here* IS UP, thats the whole of the PvE community. dungeons LFXM *insert dungeon of choice* thats the whole of the dungeon community as you can see its not much to nothing at all.

1. for WvW, thief
2. WvW staff elementalist
3. WvW needs a complete overhaul. Removing death penalties would help a lot as then players would fight to the death more rather than run away or port out, so fights would be more intense.
4, Three, and I only give it that because the TP interface is decent. Class and stat appropriate low level gear can be very hard to find due to the fact it is more profitable to vendor greens usually. Prices for some things like dyes, runes and sigils are outrageous.
5. A lot. Every class I play has major problems with skills that don't function properly. Since class skills form the basis of most player activity in the game, this is a severe problem and one which has not been given proper attention.
6. PVE dungeons. They just don't interest me much and I hate the daily PUG psychodrama  but I am starting to do them for gear that I need. WvW is okay but tends to be repetitive
7. It varies. For PUGs I would rate it a 1, due to the sheer amount of BS and drama that goes on in most runs I have done. Events usually work out well so I would give that a 9 even though no one talks. WvW could use merit-based rather than cash-based leaders and coordination so 4 for that.

1) In pvp, all of them. Burst is way too high, mainly because of haste, a hilarious buff that should have never made its way into the game. Typical lazy design.

2) Lol... it's eng

3) Even though it all needs some massive work to it, first by adding decent rewards to events, I'd say spvp because one shitty mode (conquest) is just terrible and boring to play over, and over.

4) Economy is total dog shit, gets a 1 from me. Way to easily manipulated by a select few who most likely have no life and get their jimmies by jacking the prices. (woohoo I can make money in a video game!)

5) Lots of glitches and bugs still, I put it at 6 or 7, playable but definitely not polished.

6) Everything really. Zero motivation, especially with updates like todays flawless consumables balance by our overlords at ANet. I'm serious, those guys MUST be on meth. They could start with, oh I dunno, stop making us legendary garbage collectors and give loot some meaning.

7) The only decent thing in this game is its community, get a 8 or 9 from me.

1. Thief
2. Engineer or Ranger
3. Culling is just so awfully broken everywhere.
4. 1  Very Bad, too many currencies, practically everything is soulbound, crafting is worthless
5. 10 Culling, Tons of tooltips, hero UI glitches, and skills or upgrade items that don't work as intended.
6. WvW, its just this sort of meaningless instanced fighting, with no practical benefits. I don't consider getting consumables to help you do more of the same a benefit.
7. 1  Console gaming brought the whole level of online games social aspect to a new low.  GW2 set out to make guilds less powerful and practical than in other MMOs.  By turning practically every aspect of the game into 'instances' encourages bad behavior.

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”?
Speaking in terms of WvW and sPvP? Elementalist, thief, guardian with specific builds
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”?
Necromancer, ranger
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)
WvW, social interaction
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy?
4
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game?
4
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)
WvW, there is no point, no progression, no nothing but big dumb lumps of people slamming their faces into things, who ever has more faces to smash wins, that's it.
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc)
6, people seem pretty nice when you can find them but for my server at least that is a trial as more and more people are leaving

Need to be careful on this question as the scale goes in the opposite direction of what a user would expect. (10 is normally good with 1 bad)

To be nice and contribute to your poll,

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”?
Gaurdian (PvE mindset here from playing it) I am unable to make an educated statement on PvP class balance
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”?
Necromancer (PvE as well from playing) I am unable to make an educated statement on PvP class balance
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)
The most? I can't really say. Every aspect of the game has glaring gaps in content/support. but sPvP and PvE opn world are in the worst shape I guess.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy?
3 The economy is completely pointless and practically the same as GW1 which people constantly complained about. The crafting professions (aka spend money to level quickly tool) has a large impact on the worthlessness.
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game?
5 I have encountered a progress preventing glitch in the story of every single alt I have above 20 (6). I have fallen through the map on multiple occasions when both I and my target use smash type attacks on each other. The number of bugs are low, but the impact is rather large.
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)
sPvP, WvW, and open PvE. I come from DAoC and GW1 so I had high expectations for the PvP and WvW modes and they were pretty much smashed. Still fixable though. Open world PvE is just not rewarding (gameplay wise, I could care less about pixel rewards) enough from me to enjoy it for any period of time. My playtime has decreased dramatically because of this.
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc)
4. I have to rate it below average. The game doesn't reward team play or give a person any reason to group up. As such, people don't do it anywhere near as much as I would want out of an MMO. Groups are for dungeons, but people pretty much just do what they need to do and ignore their teammates in this instance.

Little Mabel won't be able to be here it's our worst fear. She's busy working on her garden that she's growing up in space.

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”? Guardian.
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”? Engineer. Not so much "underpowered" as "don't enjoy playing."
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)? Rewards systems. The game rewards you for a lot of things (which is very motivating), but the values aren't enough.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy? 5. I think the systems are very good but there are some items, both rare and common, that are incredibly overpriced.
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game? 3. There are some bugs but very few I consider game breaking.
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)? sPvP. I'm mainly a PvE player but really enjoyed being able to jump into RA in GW1. The rewards for sPvP suck and don't appear to cross over. I feel PvP is too separate from the rest of the game. I don't just want to fight players, I want it to contribute to my overall account status.
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc)? 8. When players are around, I'm glad. I've had high levels of success with PUGs for dungeons so far and meeting players in the open world is rewarding.

Great questions!

Sorry, as a competitive SSBB player I had to comment on this :P. All of them can be played at a high level (as in, all the characters, even Ganon and Link, have a learning curve and identified experts), but there is an objective difference in high level tournament results. This is where the tier list comes from and it's quite real that Meta Knight, Snake, and Diddy Kong (<3) for instance outperform other characters.

Not to diminish any of what you said, just thought I'd comment on that :).

1. most op class in pve is definitley war no idea about pvp
2. no clue all chars i've played (necro, guard, mes) have no problems in pve again no idea for pvp
3.i'd like to see dungeons made more attractive, I still have never done CoE, SE, or HOTW because i've never had a reason too
4. economy gets an 8, overall decent but with the price of certain objects being inflated drastically be a few ppl
5. 3, only bugs i've noticed are on certain events and the fact that mesmer sword skill 3 will teleport you inside of stairs sometimes
6. wvwvw, I just don't see any reason to do this unless my guild is doing wvw night
7.9 community is great on my server other than a couple arrogant little kids i've run into ("I'll distract lupi sure" 2 seconds later he's dead)

All in all really enjoying the game

I posted the poll on multiple websites including but not limited to reddit.com, and guild wars 2 official forums. These results were polled from all the websites. Double voting could have occurred, but I did not notice many similarities in names.
Note: On the underpowered/overpowered poll many players specified game modes. So if there is a 0, that means that the voter specified that the classes was UP/OP in PvE. X is for PvP or specified sPvP (some said PvP which could mean WvW and sPvP) and finally F if the voter specified WvW only. There is a I if the voter didn’t specify anything.

1. WvW / PvP - Thief,    PvE - Warrior
2. Ranger / Engineer
3. Although I don't play it, it's got to be sPvP. WvW needs its badges distributed easily. For helping defend places and killing should always guarantee WvW tokens!
4. 7
5. 4
6. sPvP
7. I'll have to give this a 5. Or more specifically with dungeon runs: PUGs - 3, guildies - 8

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”? - Guardian - seriously, they can do everything and do it well, aegis and stability is king in GW2 and a well utilized guardian can make something like kohler and joke.
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”? - idk, necro, necros are not underpowered but they are under appreciated because they are so hard to play, so because they arent as wasy to play it inherently makes them underpowered.
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) - about two onths ago i wouldve said pve DEs needed to increase frequency but it looks like thats been done so i guess more pvp polish to make it the purposed Esport it was supposed to be.
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy? 8
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game? 2
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) WvW
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc) - 2 - lets be honest, there really isnt anyone talking with each other

1. “most overpowered”? - in PvP, theif. In WvW, warrior
2. “most underpowered”? - ranger followed closely by engi
3.  needs the most work done? -world event like the shatterer. Things just stand there and let you kill them
4.  rate the in game economy? -8.5 (i like it a lot)
5. bugs/glitches in the current build of the game? - 2.5 it's not too bad
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) - sPvP for sure
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc) -7.5, it's not perfect, but I find people generally helpful

1: None are really overpowered per se, but Warrior definitely has an easier time at most PvE solo activities than other classes. So I'll say "Warrior"

2: Engineer and Necromancer definitely needs some raw damage improvement, but their other traits such as survivability and support make up for it. I'd still say "Engineer" though.

3: The PvE aspect, as I find the PvP pretty balanced. The PvE could use a boost regarding some of the areas that remain untouched because nothing are there, and some of the group events that remain untouched because no one wants to do them.

4: Considering the system, a 9, because it's pretty balanced when you think of what it actually is: A bad system, which will get a 5 from me overall.

5: At the game's launch there were too many, but they've gradually disappeared, although a bunch still remains: 4.

6: PvE. The change to boss chests were a great step in the right direction, but the lack of unique rewards make me skip a lot of content. It's not about the quality of the reward so much as it's the style of it. If I kill a named champion, I want to be able to get something from him that I can ONLY get from him in order for me to feel truly rewarded.

7: 5 in the general world. It's hard to interact with a lot of players as most don't feel like talking. I don't know whether I can blame Arenanet for this though or whether it's just the players being less than social. 7 in a guild though, as people tend to talk more there, but the lack of guild halls or the like makes it somewhat more difficult to interact with them.

1: Warrior in PvE, Thief in PvP
2: Engineer
(Note: I'm pretty much satisfied with class balance, though I think we need more build diversity)
3: Still everything needs a lot of work, however if I have to chose I'd pick sPvP, especially since it's very very far from being an e-sport.
4: 5, there are several items overpriced (precursors, etc...), legendaries being sellable is ridiculous + I'd love crafting my own stuff and sell it on TP for profit, but in this game crafting is just meaningless. The only reason I give as high as 5 is because you can buy anything necessary easily (exotic gear and some other stuff)
5: 3, there are not many bugs and only a very few are game breaking... however I dislike thier priorities. When something is too OP it gets fixed within a day (which is fine and it should be that way), but when something is too UP we have to wait a whole month or maybe even more for it to get fixed in the next major patch... why is that? :S)
6: sPvP. I consider myself a pvp person but I haven't touched it since launch... conquest is not my stuff. I really want dueling, 2v2/3v3 arenas and weapon skill customization.
7: 8, I can easily start conversations if I want so it's as good as other MMOs... The only reason the chat might look empty is because of how the game plays, you can easily understand what's happening in the world so you don't need to write anything. It was one of Anets goals, and they did a great job.

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”?

I find the strength of GW2 classes is based on taste, style, and personal preferences and commitment to unlocking the class' potential.  That being said, I agree with the aforementioned sentiment that no class is currently overpowered.  Note: I don't know nor do I care about PvP stats on this front.

2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”?

See answer to #1

3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)

Always open world, with a side of "RP support" (housing, interactable furniture, cosmetic outfits).

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy?

There's always a buyer when I need to sell what's in my inventory.  Not a big TP player, and I have no problem buying gems with real cash to then turn into gold at opportune times for expensive items, so I have no reason not to rate a 10.

5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game?

I've only had one bug impact my gameplay in months, so I'd give this a 2.

6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW)

Open world.  When asked any variation of "where should dev time go" I will always say open world or RP support.

7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc)

I try not to depend on an MMOs community to validate, nor empower them to de-validate my purchase or enjoyment of a game, as such, my contact has been minimal outside random RP and the guild I brought with me to GW2.  That being said, seeing as I turn map chat off, I would have to say the general feel has been positive in the observation of the culture of helping people in outer world content.  As such, I have no reason not to rate a 10.

If you wanted to include forum communities... well... there would be a different mark ;)

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”?
    -Guardian
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”?
     -Necro
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done?
      -sPvP without a doubt
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy?
-2,  Too much effect on the game. One can purely play the TP, and come out MILES ahead of in terms of wealth. And everything can be bought in this game gold from levels to skins. Too much heavy effect on the game without requiring time invested or game knowledge.
5. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a lot and 1 being very few, how would you rate the amount of bugs/glitches in the current build of the game?
-4. its gotta better alot since initial release.
6. Which aspect of the game do you want to do more, but have no reason to currently do so?
        -sPvP.
7. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being great and 1 being the worst, how would you rate the community interaction between players? (things such as parties, dungeons, etc)
-ehhhhh 3 before you get in a party. 7 After you get in a party. So 5 i guess. It can go from dead silence and troll-filled all chat to legit help and back again at will. And in party, so many people are focus on staying alive, which means less typing. Voice-com with players though generally is 8-9 and work well and people are easy to get along with.

1. Which class do you consider to be the “most overpowered”? Thief (it's not the most powerful, just the one with the most stupid OP gimmicks built into the class itself)
2. Which class do you consider to be the “most underpowered”? Elementalist
3. Which aspect of the game do you think needs the most work done? (sPvP, PvE dungeons, PvE open world, WvW) sPvP
4. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being good and 1 being bad, how would you rate the in game economy? 3

1. Thief in PvP and WvW.  PvE is balanced but warrior is easiest to level.
2. Necromancer, skills activate too slowly.
3. WvW is a dying format, it needs radical changes and improvements.
4. 7
5. 6
6. PvE open world; seen it, done it, and zzzzzzz
7. 7, much better than other MMOs
