I loved some of the jump puzzles in this game. My favorite one so far is Scavenger’s Chasm. However, I am grossly disappointed after spending quite a while completing this and receiving 7 blue items and 3 green medallions netting exactly 12.7 silvers.

What is your favorite jump puzzle and what kind of rewards you have received and how do you like the rewards?

My favorite is probably the Spelunker's Delve in Caledon Forest.

As far as rewards - I've never paid attention. I don't do them for the rewards.

The jumping puzzles themselves are very cool, but I don't remember the names of any else than morgan's spiral :) lol
The rewards unfortunately are randomly-generated crap. That's always how it's been.

Reward? From jumping puzzles? lol! I guess, the reward is the achievement.

My favorite one was the mad kings clock tower. This one was actually the only challenging one in the game.

The Eternal Battlegrounds JP would be cool if it wasn't part of WvW, but some idiot killing you in the JP really ruins the fun.

My favourite JP is Griffonrook, the Maelstrom garden and the Pig Iron Quarry in fireheart rise. The rewards are awesome, I took so many screenshots!

heya, my favourite puzzle is
Fawcett's Bounty

in Hararthi as it relates to my all time fav movie: The Goonies :)

Rewards seem to be randopm junk most of the time with the occasional  rare at times ^ ^

Mad kings clock tower and Dierdre's steps. As for rewards... would be fun if there actuslly was a good loot table for jumping puzzles.

I really love that one added to Mt. Maelstroem. Can't remember its name... the one with 4 elements and a tree.

Also, Morgan's Leap. Love how it is and how it leads to another jumping puzzle.

Rewards? Can't say I complain. The jumping puzzles are basically just little minigames imo. I've gotten quite a bit of tier 6 materials in the form of gemstone orbs, so I think that's nice. Of course, I wouldn't mind a rare every now and then, but I think it's fine if dungeons, fractals, and champions/boss chests had the good loot. That being said, I think champions and dungeons need an upper in the rewards. The rest is awesome as it is now.

I rather liked the wintersday one, but I haven't done many of them so I don't have a lot of room to comment on them.

overall rewards outside of the EB one and the special event ones are crap so there is no real reason to do them unless you like jumping puzzles.  I rage at them more often then not, and when I do one for a daily if it pops up I end up doing one like shaman's rookery in wayfarer foothills just because it's easy and I do most of my daily there anyways.

As I said when JPs were first announced (and bitched about a few weeks ago) - I don't think that the camera and control system are tight enough for them to be wasting resources on JPs and not feel like an actual waste.
It feels like I am battling the camera rather than the JP most of the time.

agreed, as someone who plays norn characters a lot, 75% of the problems I have with JPs are due to the camera angles and zoom.

I have found my favourite jumping puzzle!
And it's not a jumping puzzle!

I managed to fall off a few times but I kept going back because the whole thing didn't feel cheap: I could see very well, there was no foes that KDed me off the ledges, ... It wasn't hard, and yet it still managed to be insanely fun!

But, that was a JP.

Hidden Garden, Spekks's Laboratory, Obsidian Sanctum, Chaos Crystal Cavern.
There are probably more good ones, but those come into my mind right now.

[EDIT:] Hexfoundry Unhinged was an interesting one too. Loved the setting.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
Then I absolutely hate it! ;)

(It seems I didn't reach the end and I just enjoyed the jumping from one cart to another.)

EDIT:
Out of the few JPs I tried, Chaos Crystal Cavern MIGHT just be my most hated one!

Jumping puzzle rewards are like every other reward in GW2, meaningless and pointless. Its really not a game you play for specific rewards. Arena.net in their desire to stay away from fixed farms and specific drops simply give everything small and boring loot that slowly builds up your wealth, with the very very rare lottery reward. But even that can be gotten anywhere so its not special, just very rare.

I really wish they would abandon that mindset and start giving out unique and interesting rewards for things you can do in game. Some spots in the world have the right idea, like the special karma vendor after that JP in LA, but there should be much more like that.

Well, it's natural that JPs do not have so cool rewards: if you run the same puzzle few times you became so good at it, that it starts being super easy. If JPs reward players with rare items often that will flood the market with rares and ectos.

I did get a rare once or twice from doing all the JPs in the game + I run some of them again with friends.

If JPs gave skins specific to the JP, it'd be cool - but that'd require actually making unique armor, and we can't have that.

My favorite JP was Clock Tower. I never finished it because I play on a low end system and the lag would eventually catch up to me. But I loved the challenge and the uniqueness. I wish they would have let us kill the annoying Asura at the beginning. That would have made my month!

Rewards the best is Scavenger's Chasm and its not the end chest. The mini chests along the way always give 1-2 t6 mats and the rest are generally t5. Easy puzzle but worth the time nearly once a day.

Branded Mine is a blast. I really enjoyed the Wintersday JP and jumped the heck out of it for a week :P. I also enjoy all the Borderlands JPs, which are the only ones I really do for the reward, but I wouldn't repeat them if they weren't also fun.

Mad King's Clock Tower was the best.  It was the only JP to get me heart-pounding excited, and the rewards at the end were... well, while not worth the time to farm (you could make more money elsewhere), they were still better than other JPs.

The other JP rewards are fine, I think, given that if you're good at them, you can knock them all out every day.  Perhaps they should give better rewards, though, since in the same time, you could have completed multiple dungeon exp mode runs...

Branded Mines made my palms sweat because it's so high up in the air and you have little space to jump.

I hate Dreamdark Enclave because of that stupid, insane half-twist jump off an invisible edge right in the middle. For that reason its also my favorite at the moment because when I finally nailed it, it was SUCH a rush.

I don't care about the actual reward chest at the end - I mean, its nice to have something shiny to open, don't get me wrong, but I don't really care what it contains. Jumping puzzles are their own reward.

I hate them all. At least until I finish them. Then i love them all.

(Still hate Goemm's Lab and Skipping Stones!!!)

But i'd say Wayandt's is my favorite because of the story/guide. I would love to see more interactive and interesting puzzles like that.

And I do the puzzles for the achievement... but I come back for the loot! <3

What are you talking about xD that's what makes this JP so fun and my personal favorite. You just gotta know the 4 Secrets of the EBJP to make the JP yours.

yeah I'm just going to say that I wish rewards were better, I LOVE some of the more challenging puzzles, but getting 2 blues and green from some of them is brutal if you put in all the time.  (the one where you collect the orbs in malchors leap is great fun but thats a lot of work for absolutely nothing.)  I'd like some of the tougher ones to get the same bonus as the meta events with the personal daily chest.  That would be cool.  Beating Mad kings clock tower made me super happy though, just like skipping stones.

As for the guy complaining about the other guy that kills him in EB JP.... sorry, its nothing personal you guys drop stuff sometimes... ;)

I hate jump puzzles they should remove them from the game. Silliest idea evah. They should have put more side quests for treasure chests than those silly jump puzzles.
