NYCC Meet & Greet VIP Contest! WINNERS ANOUNCED!

As always it was a challenge to pick a limited number of winners from so many great entries. Thank you to everyone who participated, we had many laughs reading through submissions!

The awesome folks at ArenaNet has been kind enough to provide us with a number of VIP passes for the NCsoft Meet and Greet on the evening of Friday, October 8 in mid-town Manhattan, New York City! If you want a chance at an awesome evening with ArenaNet and other fans, look no further!

All you have to do to enter is provide a witty caption for the photograph below, or edit the image in a comical manner! Those that make us laugh the most will each receive a pass.

It’s important to note that entries should be ‘work safe’, so do not include any profanity, nudity, or other such objectionable material. It doesn’t matter how funny it is if we can’t post it!

[INDENT]- Entrants must be able to travel to the venue on October 8th. Don't enter if you're not going to use the ticket!

- Entrants must be over 18.

- Submissions must include your Guild Wars 2 Guru forum username, your actual first and last names, and you must have a valid form of ID to get into the venue.

- If you have a friend you would like to bring, please provide their name and email address with your submission! We will try and accommodate this where possible.[/INDENT]

Contest closes 12 noon PST/8 PM GMT on October 5th!

This Meet and Greet will be held at a venue external to New York Comic Con, and guests are not required to have New York Comic Con passes to attend. Winners will have early access to the Meet and Greet and will be able to play the Guild Wars 2 demo on a few demo stations available there, further details will be provided via email in the near future.

Just have to remind you.. It is not usually about whether we would be willing to fly over there or not, but if we have the money or not :( My student budget for example barely covers my rent and other necessities.

Just clarifying that this is open to anyone regardless of location. Some contests are limited by whether we can ship to other countries or not. This one isn't.

Yeah sorry I did not mean to complain about the contests or anything, they are awesome and interesting + this is a great opportunity to anyone who can make it to NY :) Of course it isn't your fault if someone cannot participate due to "personal poorness" :( I guess Im just mad at myself for living in the middle of nowhere ;)

Some additional clarification: Winners under the age of 18 can attend, provided they are accompanied by an adult, though will be required to leave the venue at 11 PM.

Of course it's open to everyone because you're expected to make your own way to the venue. Plus you can't enter the competition unless you have valid and within budget plans to even make the journey. Which is a shame because I'd love to rip into this picture :3
