Hey all,

My ping was fine from game launch to 2 days ago (50-100ms), but in the last 2 days it started going up significantly to 250-300. It gets even worse in large battles (NOT an FPS issue at all, but I feel moves getting more delayed), and it makes me incapable of executing skills properly without significant delay; sometimes the skills don't even activate properly.

Anyone have a similar issue? Any solutions to this? My ping on speedtest.net is 5ms and my connection is 100mbps down/50mbps up. This isn't an internet connection issue on my end -- at least I don't think it is.

I don't use an external ping view, but I swear there is more server lag. Animations are consistently behind and damage is being triggered before some animations even start. Some animations don't even occur at all anymore. The Maws red skull of doom, doesn't even show the life-sucking animation. This weekend I was even taking damage mid-dodge roll and through distortion.

Did a fractal run yesterday with 4 people from blacktide... First 2 fractals were really laggy (also roughly 0.3s delays) and the occasional spike. But I was the only one who lagged of the four. 3rd fractal and bonus.were back to normal

Maybe it's a.cross.server problem? Then again we've been lagging like crazy in big.events too lately.

I would imagine there's a large difference between a simple ping and high bandwidth usage.

I do know there is a huge ping problem with german servers at the moment (There was a similar problem shortly after launch), so if you play on a german server, that's likely it and it's definitely server-side. (or a routing problem to the server)
It has been acknowledged by ANet and is being worked on. (Did take a while to fix it the last time too though)

I do have lags on random maps (including dungeons) at peak times, though I was relatively lucky so far. Still sometimes I have slight lags of varying degrees (from just a slight lag to pretty much unplayable). Dragon Fights are really weird since the patch, they lag massively for multiple people involved. (Though there are probably more people doing them because of better rewards)
